I'm a late comer to this thread. Could that video have been faked? I use to ride a bike (until the ramp incident) and 300km is just virtually impossible.
Virtually impossible? I think not. Maybe if you were just riding some 250cc POS moped equivalent. Thats an R1 which will do 300km/h all day long in stock form. Modified they will do 330+. Ive had 2 trust me on this one. Oh and before the wise guys pipe up about darwin awards and the like. I did this on a completely deserted stretch of highway. I have to disagree. While he was traveling fast, I don't believe he went over 200.... I'm thinking the title is a mistake and should be 199.

granted this guy did it for an extended period of time, but i see guys on these fast bikes on hwy 7 in woodbridge buzzing cars and popping wheelies almost every day in the summer. i hate it cause i don't know where they are. i can hear them, i just can't see 'em.
I wonder if the OD tops out at 299? Anyhow I agree it would have been way cooler if he had wiped out at the end. This feels like going to a strip club - gets you all excited but no release lol.

Pretty obvious that the guy just simply ran out of talent. That corner could easily be handled by that bike, he was no where near the limit of the bikes capability in terms of cornering. If you go that fast with so little rider training that you cannot make a sweeping corner like that, then you are writing your own death warrant.And you are probably blaming the truck driver too for this accident, correct?
