When Charles Oakley left VC had no one to challenge him and his sissy behaviour. Oak, stepped up and let Vince know when he was not pulling his weight and when he needed to pick up his game. Vince is not and never will be a leader. He can be a great player again but he wont be the main star on a team anymore.

The Raptors are in a tough situation because Vince gets hurt every week, so he has virtually no trade value. I think the Raptors are in a lose-lose here!

Good let the whiney fuck go. He's a bitch he chews up too much salary and only plays when he isn't too busy being hurt which seems like its more often than not.

Nortel

I compare the stock value of VC to that of Nortel - was worth $120 but now at $4.

Between Oakville and Oshawa
yup, Vince would be lucky to get traded for a dozen basketballs right now. He should stop crying and acting like the baby that he is and hopefully he is healthy, so he can play a bit, at least so he can improve his trade value.

Was listening to the Reporters on TSN. Steve Simmons was saying that Riley doesn't want him in Miami (Vince's preference) nor does new Orleans, or any West cost team of significance. The man is valueless in the league. But for some reason he will be voted on to the allstar team.

Carter's a cancer. The smarter GMs in the league won't touch him.
How many coaches have tried and failed to motivate his pansey ass?
Let him sit.........or better still put him on a game to game incentive plan.
If he puts out.........he plays.
If he stiffs out........he sits.
Best scenario would see him leave T.O. before he ruins Bosh and some of the young kids.

What recourse does a team have if a player mopes and decides to give a less than full effort if he
is unhappy with his situation
The safeguard of this is that it will hurt the player in his future contracts if his performance numbers are down and the player AND his agent know this.

If vince carter decides to not show up for training camp and/or regular season games, it will cost him about 150,000.00 dollars per game.

Well, one of the main characteristics Riley looks for in players is toughness. VC doesn't have it. I'm not surprised he said that.

He was high on Carter early in his career, before his weaknesses were exposed.

Playa Del Carmen Q.R.
Carter reminds me of that cancer QB Jeff George.

Cry, cry, whine, whine - Carter is an injury prone, prima donna, let his mommy do the talking, wont play the low post, soft on D, streaky perimeter shooting little baby.

I'd trade his sorry crying whining ass for almost anything right now - picks, prospects, a bucket of used nets....

And tell him to take his mommy with him!
