I see the Terb chapter of the JDL is in full force here trying to justify their hypocritical partisan views. "Never again!(Unless it's Netanyahoo doing the shafting)".

And just how do you propose to have that happen.

Declaring that Israel must be destroyed,... is not a very good way to make peace.
Utter nonsense. Remember, peace was pretty close at hand when Jewish extremists murdered the Israeli PM Rabin. There are extremists on both sides, Israels continual and illegal seizing of land does not indicate they are at all interested in peace.

Asking for a proposal as to how peace could be established between Isreal and the Palestine,... is "utter nonsence",... ???

You are the one who has stated you won't buy "Israeli products",... until "they make fair peace with the Palis",... but you have no idea how that would happen.

So until you do,... and the Palis state they are not pursuing the destruction od Israel,... same old.

PS: And there's that highly descriptive term,... "fair" used once again,... with the same results,... useless.

You were not "asking for a proposal" You were STATING a proposal and stating what you thought is the Palestinian position for peace. At least make an attempt to understand what it is you are asking. I have stated my proposal for peace several times, which would be to go to a 1 state Federal structure which would compensate the Palis for losses and right of return generously. The full evolution to statehood would happen over only 50 years or so. In the meantime, there will be a bicameral legislature so that the Jews who will have a minority, will have a fair say in legislation. (like the US senate) The highest court of appeal will be the the Hague and ICJ with no Jewish or Arab justices hearing matters relating to Israel. Israel will be a SECULAR nation. Israel will have a perpetual defensive guarantee from NATO though a perpetual and special membership status. (its really the only alliance that can do this) Freedom of movement in Israel will be a gradual thing with borders maintained and individuals vetted though a process to obtain a freedom of movement pass. As I said, it will take 50 years..at least.

You lost me at 1 state. A single state will NEVER happen. Did I mention NEVER. Israelis will NEVER accept a Jewish minority. NEVER. The balance of your proposal is therefore irrelevant.

You should take a stand and honour your own words.

You still can't or won't state what you think the border of Israel really is, yet now are stating that Jerusalem's border is set, based off of land gained through war.
Which is a war crime.

You should really back Canadian values, the rule of law and equal rights.
Your posts are idiotic. The world, the UN, and I all agree that the Israel/Palestine border will be determined by negotiation base on the 1949 armistice lines. And you miss the fact that West Jerusalem (the location of Israel's government) is on the Israeli side of that line.

None of this is a surprise though since you have already admitted you think all of Israel is illegal.

The Palestinians (at least Hamas and Fatah's armed wing) are pretty clear that their requirements for peace are Israel being destroyed.

BTW. Two thirds of Palestinians oppose a One State peace. So does the UN, the EU, Canada, The Arab League, the Vatican, ....

And a bi-national state is sure working well in Lebanon isn't it?

A mature people act in their interest and don't follow hysterical Yemenis or Turks. We need, very badly, to reach an understanding on trade with our largest trading partner. This vote was a free gift to Canada to put Trump in a position to owe us a big one and our government blew it.
Put Trump on a pedestal. Really!! Maybe he will next ask the UN to support his nuking of North Korea. So, Canada should say yes to this trigger happy clown??

Actually I did not "state" a proposal.

And I did not "state" that the Palestinian "proposal" for peace,... was the annihilation of Israel,... mind you that does seem to be a certain factions concept of peace.

Your reading from the Hamas play book,... paints a pretty good picture of why there will be no peace in that region.

What you have suggested as a "proposal",... is quite frankly hilarious at best,... and even you would know that it would never be accepted by Israel and the rest of the world.

Thus the only result of your "proposal",... would be the status quo,... and once again,... the obvious desire of some.

That's pretty close to hate speech, where you try to dehumanize and 'characterize' Palestinians as evil, genocidal types.

The two state solution is the preferred solution, but its now pretty much impossible so you're left with the de facto, apartheid, single state solution.
Easiest way to fix that is with equal rights and full democracy for all living inside the borders.

And a bi-national state is sure working well in Lebanon isn't it?
It worked quite well for a long time, with Beirut known as the Paris of the middle east, up until Israeli invasions. That gave rise to Hezbollah as a movement to defend Lebanon from Israel and the rest is yet another clusterfuck.

Sadly you refuse to criticize Hamas who openly claims their goal is nothing less than Israel's destruction. One of their founders just stated they will deport Jews from Palestine.

And it's laughable that you say you are only criticizing Israeli policy while arguing against it's existence but you consider criticism of Hamas terrorists to be racist.

Yet the UN, the EU, Canada, the Vatican, etc all agree that it is the ONLY solution.

More importantly, the Palestinian people are overwhelmingly against One State and their leaders dismiss the idea out of hand.

Bullshit and your version of history is farcical.

The Lebanese civil war and the Syrian invasion of Lebanon happened long before Israel became involved.

Worse still Hezbollah is a foreign proxy army.

Don't forget to blame Hillary as well, while you're at it.

Hamas sucks, but they aren't nearly as evil as Israeli policy is these days.
Now Israel is continuing to hold the 16 year girl, and her mother, because they are seriously worried that she's dangerous.
Israel extends 16-year-old Palestinian girl's detention because she could 'pose a danger'
Ahed Tamimi, who was recently filmed slapping Israeli soldiers, gets four more days as judges say she might obstruct investigation, with one saying she could endanger soldiers

Israeli lawmaker was caught calling Palestinians 'insects' and 'dogs' the other day. Not too far off your continual attempts at dehumanization.

The fact that you think a terrorist entity are the good guys say volumes about you.
It says volumes about Israeli policy.

Is Hamas about to legislate another people as second class, not even, citizens?
http://imemc.org/article/knesset-head-to-push-bill-promoting-arabs-as-second-class-citizens/

Did Hamas help civilians attack farmers the way the IDF just did?
http://imemc.org/article/israeli-colonists-uprooted-20-olive-trees-near-nablus/

And again?
http://imemc.org/article/palestinians-foil-settler-attack-on-nablus-area-village/

Did Hamas just shoot a child in the face then arrest his sister and mother for protesting this act on their own land?
https://electronicintifada.net/blog...hoot-boy-head-take-revenge-against-his-family

Does Hamas constantly shoot and harass paramedics?
http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2017/12/fear-shot-palestinian-paramedic-account-171227130418103.html

I'd go on, but pretty much nothing Israel does upsets you.

You are a complete fraud with your support of a terrorist entity.

And Canada completely disagrees with you. Hamas is a designated terrorist entity while Israel is a trading partner.

Since when do you or Israel or most of the world care what Palestinians want. Right of return is a big stumbling block, this gives them right of return. It already looks like both Israel and Palestine will have their capitals in Jerusalem, so what does that look like to you?

I note that despite your complaints about Hamas, you can't find anything they've done recently that is anywhere near as evil.
Nor can you even comment on Israeli policy that is really disgusting.

You are the fraud here, pretending you back human rights while continually supporting apartheid and war crimes.
