The U.S. Supreme Court is a joke, Alito and Thomas have made a mockery of it, they might as well be sitting up there wearing their red MAGA hats. Chief Justice Roberts is feckless tool of the Federalist Society and has lost all control to the far-right zealots.
The immunity ruling has no basis in the Constitution, they just made up some shit to grant a imperial POTUS almost absolute power. Then they delayed this ridiculous ruling as long as they could to help their god-king ex-president Trump. These clowns basically even made bribery legal......WTF!

Can they force him to sit down while the investigations go on?
Not that it matters, they're on break until the fall, aren't they?
Who is "they"?
AOC can't force him in any way.
Congress could, theoretically, pass laws trying to force Justice's to sit down while under investigation but that isn't going to happen under a Republican House.

So no - the only thing this does is try to point out how corrupt he is and put it on the back burner for possibly being picked up later.

So nothing will happen unless rump loses and the dems control congress?
Biden should have packed the court a couple of years ago.

He didn't have the support in Congress to change the court.
He's not actually a dictator.

Except in regards to Israel.
He's willing to use executive power against the will of his people there, just not to control the SCOTUS.

What executive power do you think he has to reform SCOTUS here?
