He has now filed a grievance for collusion against the owners, now with Rogers probably done for the season I hope my Packers stay with Hundley and don’t even think about it.

It's amazing how one misinformed dude can cause so much problems for a huge sports league. When will this moronic marathon end?

Now the owners will surely want to hire him! LOL, he surely must be the moron of the year winner. Guess he feels this is his only shot at a paycheck of any sort.

I'm from the USA....
like i said probably 2x now that what Canadians don't understand is the news that
was NOT aired was all the POLICE bruatality and Shooting innocent BLACKs during routine traffic stops.

That NEWS was a lot of Police Brutality killing/shooting Blacks
while being recorded and the Police were unjust...
I'm 100% sure that these local NEWs that added up to be like every month for the past 2 years
in the USA did not add up to Canadian media outlet.

Most Canadians think he is kneeling to be against the USA military and USA 1st responders,
IT IS NOT FOR THAT REASON....

He is kneeling because BLACKS were being treated unjustly and were shot at by POLICE.

Now he is suing because there are probably 100 lawyers in the past 2 months trying to represent him
to get the lost money, and the Lawyers are saying the NFL owners were all in it....

Is this making sense to you all Canadians????

Blacks cannot protest in the NHL...there are too many Caucasians'....
Blacks in the NFL are the greatest athletes who are NOT passive, they didn't become PRO players
being passive

It is what it is.
Do you think that every reprehensible act can be justified by simply claiming that it is to protest police brutality?

I'm also from the US and you do not speak for the typical American. You make it sound like cops shooting blacks for no reason is a common occurrence, it most certainly is not. I know a lot of blacks in the US and I also know a lot of cops in the US, your accusations are ridiculous.

Most blacks die at the hands of other blacks, where is your outrage at that? The number of blacks killed by police is very small in comparison. If blacks did not commit the most crimes they would not draw the attention of law enforcement to the extent they do. If blacks respected authority and complied with police requests such as "hands in the air" they would not get shot. White guys that do not comply with cops get shot just as much as a percentage. It's not whitey's fault the black guys commit more crime, despite what your former president says.

This is really fucking simple. Don't break laws and then cry when something bad happens to you or yours. And you don't have a president who promoted violence against cops anymore. This one holds all men accountable for their own actions.

Advertisers spending money elsewhere, empty seats in the stadiums, are you freakin blind? NFL is now the 3rd most popular sport in the US behind MLB and NBA, that is hard to do since the NBA is such a shitshow these days. If the ratings weren't down the owners would not be meeting, it most certainly is hitting them in their pockets. Their fake morality goes right down the toilet when dollars are involved.

And the black millionaire athletes will listen when their fat paycheck is affected. Rishard Mathews already has reversed his position when he realized his fat check was in jeopardy, do you even pay attention to what is going on at all?

Again as a Canadian I thought he was kneeling in protest to all the black football players that beat their wives and girlfriends and carry firearms illegally, drive intoxicated, and assault people more so than any other group in the USA. And then as a side they disrespect the flag and the military, even after weeks of being told that is what the are doing. They have been told over and over and yet they continue. And they wonder why the are roughed up by police in a minute percentage of total stops? Bad math seems to create bad actions.

OH okay, I thought you were talking about the reporter who reported fake news. Thanks
So it turns out the statement is true after all, this is straight from Colin's lawyer Mark Geragos:

http://www.tmz.com/2017/10/15/colin-kaepernick-files-collusion-grievance-against-nfl/

"We can confirm that this morning we filed a grievance under the CBA on behalf of Colin Kaepernick. This was done only after pursuing ever possible avenue with all NFL teams and their executives." The statement goes on to say Colin shouldn't be punished for his peaceful protest, and that he just wants to get back to playing

I'm sidelined at my workplace because I'm not very good at what I do. Then I make my work environment toxic by protesting something unrelated during the national anthem which is completely inappropriate and I offend customers by doing so. After this I file a grievance so that I can get to stay at my workplace and make money, despite sucking at my job, creating a circus around my workplace, and having customers boycott my bosses' business.

This is a really bad soap opera. We're still living in a world run by the 'stupid people' as Trump used to say on the campaign trail.

Great point(s).

What if I were waiter at a restaurant, and every time I serve a customer I go on a 10-minute rant about how I hate Justin Trudeau and how I think he makes for a shitty PM.

You could argue I'm exercising my freedom of speech, but something tells me many customers wont be coming back, and I also wont have a job for very long

I'm not an expert on constitutional law but I heard them talking about it on the radio and they made the point that freedom of speech is meant to protect your ability to say and think what you want but does not apply to your employment. In other words, it was never meant to give you the right to say whatever you want or act however you want in the workplace. It's meant to protect your personal beliefs in your personal life. They were pretty explicit about this which makes me think that issue has probably been extensively litigated already.

It's very easy to claim that the owners are colluding to deny him employment. CK is about to discover that proving that is a very different matter. Saying "it's obvious" doesn't cut it in a court of law.

Nobody has a problem with protests. They have a problem with it happening during the anthem in football. How many ways can this be said before it's understood?
