Sounds good to me.

Only caveat is that an assassination means you still lose

Bannon figured that he could be successful manipulating the GOP nominations process and that the Mercers would continue to back him. So he felt he could set himself up as an internal GOP rival to Trump and diss him whenever he felt like it.

It didn't play out. He was unsuccessful in all the 2017 special elections. He fucked up spectacularly re Roy Moore and lost the GOP a crucial Senate seat. The Mercers dumped him. So he desperately tries now to suck up to Trump and get Trump to like him again, like a sad bitch.
It all makes Trump seem like a 'sane genius'.

I bet this whole 'Fire and Fury-gate' was just a small example of Trump's maniacal genius on display.

1) Invite Michael Wolf into the WH.

2) Treat Wolf as part of the 'family' to gain Trump's trust and convince Wolf to write a book about the WH.

3) Have more than half of his WH 'family' feed Wolf juicy morsels of gossip which would make Bannon extremely jealous.

4) An unrequited Bannon then goes all vindictive and feeds Wolf with 'baseless garbage'

5) When Trump is satisfied that Wolf has enough juicy 'garbage' to print he orders Wolf to seek a publisher.

6) Book and gossip out in the public now, Bannon exposed as mentally unstable and a Dotard compared to Trump.

7) Trump wins yet again due to his ginormous sanity and world conquering genius.

The lesson from all of this?

Don't fuck with Trump's insanity and stupidity.

Wow all these Brannon haters from Trump’s Canadian fan base. Let me ask you what you thought of Bannon in January 2017? Be honest. He helped get Trump into the Whitehouse, after all. He wouldn’t have been able to backstab in the West Wing without getting the man-child into office.

For the record, I think Bannon is scum of the earth. But he and Trump deserve each other. I find it hilarious to read people who love Trump and now claim they never liked Bannon. Complete and utter revisionist history, and beyond hilarious. Carry on Trump Nation!

Absolutely spot on so far as it goes.

However, you left out (perhaps because it is obvious) that Bannon suffers from hubris, and thought it would be acceptable to "trash talk" the President's family not just in private but to an author because he disagreed with them on certain policy points. It is unprincipled and stupid in any administration to attempt to publicly disparage other members of the White House Staff, but it truly strains belief that Bannon honestly believed that this was going to be a productive strategy for him to pursue.

Bannon - when you strip away all the hype - might not be the sharpest tool in the shed. His philosophical and historical ponderings are pretty much at the level of a grade 12 history club student. His political strategies were ludicrous and inept. His one success was / is Breitbart and that might be the cosmic good luck of being the right man at the right time with the right glib line of bullshit.

But then, that's par for the course in this administration, isn't it?

That makes you a fanatic. Eddie Murphy's character's line from Coming to America comes to mind: "If Jesus is wrong, I don't want to be right".
more like "if Hitler is right , I want to be wrong!" What planet have you been living on to call someone who hates Trump a fanatic? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Bt6BSc-kxJeTUpMEoJkkbEgEZaSmPjA3/view <=== your welcome! LOL
damn.... google took it down, but not before I saved the entire Fire and Fury book, thanks to Trump's old pal, Julian Assange and wikileaks. You snoozed - you losed!

You guys are so silly. The 25th amendment must be invoked by the Vice President and it must be agreed on by the 2/3 of the Congress. Does anyone is stupid enough to believe this to be possible? With economy going into overdrive, 2 million jobs created(and not mcjobs, either), the Wall on the horizon, ISIS defeated, etc. does anyone really believe that he will resign? If he even got a smidgen of a fair coverage in the media, he'd be easily the most popular President since Reagan.

Matt Drudge said it right, the more white and the more right-wing a President is, the stronger the hate becomes from the media

No, because assassination is intentional and the others arent.

It sounds like you're already welching on our bet
I'm not 'welching', we're still setting the terms.
And as a Trump supporter, you really think if some one assassinates Trump you should win the bet?
If you're really happy betting for Trump to be assassinated, then we can go ahead with the bet.

Ok, we're on.
You're betting for Trump to be assassinated or to hold office through 2018.
I'm betting that Trump will be removed from office or leave due to health/mental issues.
Loser choses the others avatar/sig picture(s) for one month.

Yes, because it proves how desperate some are on the Left to get Trump removed from office

Trump will not get assassinated. He spends all day in his bedroom.
True, more likely to die of a heart attack from the bedtime burgers and angry tweeting.
Anyways, I do find it amusing that even a hard core Trumpster is betting he'll be assassinated.
