That is definitely an interesting story.
Yes it is!

But I think the word you meant to use was intradasting.

If you read what he has written, listened to the entirety of his speeches, you would find it very interesting. Unless you were listening to him only to find holes in what he is saying that don't line up with the narrative that got into your brain first.

You can't spell Minsk and I'm surprised you can spell geopolitics. You understand neither.

Was also wondering what rock you used to hide under here on Terb before you appeared out of nowhere last week and have made 196 posts on politics since then? Not any about fucking women either. You certainly are no academic and lack critical thinking skills, an open mind and testosterone.

So who were you?
For someone who is accusing me of lacking critical thinking skills, and for someone claiming to have been personally impacted by Russian actions and claiming to have studied them for 35 years, you have done nothing more than passionately regurgitate what you have managed to read on mainstream media or attempt to post a few memes. No posts of any value in any case that demonstrates any thoughtful analysis whatsoever.

I usually dont post or write reviews, just lurk. I just happened to feel I needed to say something and got sucked in.

Unfortunate for sure. It is not ultra right propaganda to be against military expansion. What you are standing for is infact fascist.

And do what you wish.
I don't think it is nice to make fun of, shall I just say 'challenged' people. But when you start throwing the word fascist around, you become fair game.

Here is the textbook definition of fascism. And it is not "military expansionism". It is precisely what the unfortunate Russian people are suffering under, and will suffer for for the next generations as a result of Putin's vision of the Russki Mir.

"Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race"

Please provide the post number where I have even referenced one CNN article or headline with you concerning Ukriane.
You can't even get that correct.
I am characterizing your posts as a regurgitation of mainstream media headlines. Once more, you resort to unnecessary and useless specificity because you dont really have any understanding of the issue or even intend to discuss honestly, but just want to muddy the waters in a discussion by trying to be reductive.

Bloviating about topics you dont understand, while being dishonest, makes you challenged. Calling someone ultra right for being against military expansionism, is quite literally a fascist position.

PS: When someone uses "dictionary definitions" or "textbook definitions" of something, it simply means they lack nuanced thought or analysis of what is being discussed.

You have taken no positions whatsoever in this entire discussion. All you have tried to do is to muddy the waters, added zero information to the discussion and I have called you out on it. Just repeating my own statements back to me isn't a retort.

I am not going to provide you post numbers of any kind, sorry.

You are free to take a position on why you think the Russian invasion is unjustified, which you haven't.

So to summarize you have a personal bias and animosity towards the Russians. Okay, I understand where you are coming from.

Russians on the other hand feel threatened the same way you are and therefore are invading.
Let me add a lack of reading comprehension to my assessment.

I do not have animosity towards Russians. In fact I have empathy and now, sympathy towards them. The Russian people are suffering horribly as a result of Putin's Soviet vision of the Russki Mir. Boys are losing their fathers because Putin is sending them to be mowed down and slaughtered. Mothers are losing their sons. And Russians will be hated pariahs for generations by stupid people who think Putin's dream is the dream of all Russian people. Russia will suffer a much worse fate than NATO on their borders such that it may cause not only the collapse of the political entity of Russia, but of the actual disruption of future generations. The hundreds of thousands of Russian men killed or severely wounded will have a devastating effect on the already declining birth rate. The millions of peaceful Russians who left Russia will melt into western society, thereby further diluting Russian genetic, ethnic and cultural survival.

But I do have basic human animosity towards those Soviet-Russians who actively promote or go to war for Soviet style Russian goals. They are inhumane, even to their own fellow Russians. Never mind towards humanity in general.

You simply cannot have any idea of the brutality, inhumanity and absolute absence of regard for human life this war illustrates.

I am writing in the hope that you can somehow understand that this is not an abstract discussion. Stalin killed more fellow Russians in the name of the Soviet Union than Hitler killed Jews.

Putin will be no different unless he is stopped. And you make excuses for him. You should be ashamed of yourself if you continue to do so.

I have stated my position several times, either you failed to read that far into my posts or you forgot.
Also, even if I hadn't stated my position in my last 20 posts on Ukraine, if you haven't figured it out by now, you are extremely obtuse.

Me discussing the intricacies of the Russian mindset that led to this war with you would be like someone discussing advanced physics equations with me.

You and I lack the respective fundamentals to learn anything meaningful from the respective subjects. Sure, I understand basics of applied physics in that I get the theory of the conservation of energy so I can recognize a scammer selling perpetual motion machines. But I lack the solid foundation to even speak the language of how to understand the foundational equations of it.

Your understanding of Russia is more than the average man on the street. But you lack the foundations, even the equivilant theory to understand anything about Russia because you only started to learn it in maybe the lasdt six months. And you've obviously been fed it.

If you really want to try to understand Putin and the Russian mindset, there is a very good Russian philosopher on YouTube by the name of Vlad Vexler that is quite engaging and interesting to listen to.

Please ignore the (requisite) clickbait title and see if this short 18 min video. He is not being critical, he is explaining why Russia keeps struggling to this day.

Putin will be no different unless he is stopped.
Yes war is brutal I get it. Yes Stalin was brutal I get it. US and NATO have killed even more. All true statements.

The problem is you seem to think that this entire conflict is all from one side. This is nothing more than a biased position because of your family history.

This bolded statement also means that in your view and in the view of people who support your position, success here is essentially destruction of Russia. You are taking a position that is an existential threat to Russia and it only justifies the invasion. I am not sure if you can see through your own biases here.

This sort of thing right here, is where your biases are at. You presume too much, are stuck in a certain manner of thinking.

Sorry but I am really not qualified to come up with my own definitions of classical academic, philosophical or political definitions. I need to rely on textbooks and dictionaries.

I'm sincerely interested in your considered definition of fascism.

You are not worth responding to anymore and I won't. Even now, you haven't stated your position simply in a sentence or two except to say "if you cant read yada yada...". Take care.
