So many factors to take into account with the wall.
First, its not "Trump's Wall', its a security measure intended to make life safer for all Americans. It's not making good on a campaign promise, as much as its common sense to secure a Nations boarder.
Should Trump sign it? Yes. Because the main purpose of this would be about funding, and that means keeping the government open.
Is it a good deal? No, its shit. But there are other steps to take, that don't include another shutdown, or declaring an emergency.
I get that people who hate Trump, laugh at his supporters thinking they blindly follow.
I find it more disturbing, people actually have to fight over a mere 5 Billion, to secure a countries border. Or people who laugh, that the democrats fight hard to constantly obstruct everything Trump does.
People who want a nation to essentially do bad economically, have open boarders, or anything negative, just to say, Trump failed.
So, If Trump does sign this, what does it mean?
Most important, it means the government stays open, and that keeps many Republicans happy.
Yes, it would mean less money, but the agreement also rejects limits Democrats sought on detentions of immigrants apprehended in the U.S and that is huge. So while he conceded, so too did they.
Remember the last shutdown? Leading up to it, and during, democrats said NO money, and NO barrier. Nothing... zero
Well then 55 miles, and 1.3 billion is a hell of nothing, and serious down payment.
Trump can't get everything he wants, especially dealing with such unreasonable democrats. People get that, and many Republicans and supporters see the nonsense he has been put through when trying to make America safer.
Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri, a member of GOP leadership, said he’s examining the federal budget for ways Trump could use available funds for a wall without using an emergency declaration.
While Mark Meadows of North Carolina, said he believes Trump will sign the measure and then use executive action to gain additional funds for the wall.
End story, lets see how it plays out. Lets see what the 'fence' looks like, and how much more funds/resources become available to add to this starting point.
