I predict someone will shoot Trump and possibly Musk too… the country has lots of guns lots of nut bars and now lots of disgruntled federal employees.

I had a discussion somewhere else and we were saying the MAGA crowd has a lot of guns and ammo.

If things get too uneasy, it could get real ugly.

As I was saying, tariffs don't fit conveniently into the left/right dichotomy. You can still hate Trump. You can still disagree with his treatment of Canada. However, I wouldn't try to label tariff policy with a broad political brush.

See, the problem with you is you are whining about the 25% tariffs..and thinking this is gonna be Trumps downfall...but never have I heard you whine about the wasteful spending of Biden administration...us and Canada mirror each other...there are also wasteful spending here and haven't heard you complain...is it because you are "well off"? But shouldn't you whine for the unfortunate?

if he captured 25 to 50% of the Canadian / Mexican auto industries + parts made in China over 4 years he would call that a victory

yes it could
inflation could also be a huge problem for him
it is a problem for any sitting politician in a democracy
