Dave, what do you want us to do? This case is now almost dead in the water. The judge knows that an appeal is hanging over his head. Apparently, you don't understand the appeal's viability because you are stuck on the sanctimony of the jury and judge.

This case was dragged through the New York judicial system so that talking heads could say convicted felon Donald J. Trump during the election season. Again, what do want us to do? The election is over.

Are you hearing something that the judge is going to drop something big on Trump? I'm hearing quite the opposite. The judge doesn't really have too many options.

You could admit that Trump was not wrongfully convicted and that he is a convicted felon for starters. Also ackowledge that iwhe the documents case reaches trail (if Trump is still alive) that he will most certainly be convicted.

First, why would we ignore the appeals process? There is a strong basis for an appeals hearing.

Let's also see the results with of the initial sentencing, A prominent member argued that we don't pursue justice to seek results with the punishment. In other words, the millions of dollars New York has spent to date is worth it regardless of the sentence. I'm a practical guy like several members here. Speaking for all of us, it's ludicrous to pursue some sort of justice without considering cost versus impact (as in punishment).

Me thinks you're trying to squeeze out some semblance of a victory on these pages. Can't help with you that. We can all wait for the results of the sentencing and the appeal. If the judge throws down an unconditional discharge of the case, it will be a pyrrhic victory for the prosecutor and even that win might be temporary.

Until its appealed he's a convicted felon.
Them's the facts.

And off to a fine start as your new moral leader.

A criminal record means nothing if you don't spend a minute in jail. He was never handcuffed either.
So you are proud of their criminal records as long as they are not arrested? Hilarious!!

Oh, I forgot your name. You're into these fantasy scenarios that you cook up.
I am sorry I offended your great leader. You should apply as his food taster. Don't worry a little spittle will not hurt you.

Every politician had or should have a criminal record. Why does Trump always get focused on?
Really, what criminal records have the likes of Obama or Harris either been charged with or should be charged for?

Harris/Biden get aiding genocide, sadly.

We need to get back to the time when politicians were turfed just for lying, let alone breaking the law.

If conservatives don't want liberals in power then I fully agree with them.
So you think conservatism can't exist within democracy.
That does explain why so many right wingers back authoritarians like trump and Putin.

The only authoritarian government I've seen that last 8 years were the democrats. Free speech was censored by democrats and liberal. Lockdowns and vaccine mandates imposed by liberals not conservatives.

You just argued you would support a system where liberals aren't allowed power.

Now we have Musk and Zuckerberg, right wing billionaires, censoring and controlling SM. Trump is threatening to sue any paper that pushes negative stories while he threatens Canada and Greenland. How do you see this as more freedom?

Your lunacy is at an all time high. Last I check Zuckerberg was censoring people who spoke out against the same vaccine mandates that you support.
