Pundits usually overstate the importance of Vice Presidential selections, but I think Tulsi would have been a good choice. Again any opinion on this is almost always an overstatement, but I think if JD Vance is selected it is a missed opportunity. No animus towards Vance, I just don't think he will add anything to the ticket.

Trump could have scored more political gains had he remained on the
stage after getting shot and said this to his supporters:
