I love how Benny Johnson can post something like that. He's shameless...lol

As for the "no tax on tips," I think its a stupid policy, regardless of who pitched it. In theory, it could mean waitstaff could see more take home pay....but I think all it will do is cause restaurants to cut wages in response.

I'm going to reply to this one....because, the reality here is this "interview" was abysmal. But, Teflon Don can say basically anything and it doesn't really move the needle. His cult will vote for them even if he said he'd suspend the constitution. He sounded old, slurred his words and had trouble articulating his thoughts. The reason he agreed to do it was because he knew Musk wouldn't push back on any of his lies or bullshit. And, it should be pointed out it was plagued by technical issues at the beginning...

Now, could Harris do a two hour interview? Of course she could. But, she's out on the hustings giving stump speeches to battleground states. Trump is in his resort playing golf....Or flying around in Epstein's jet...
Of course Harris could do a 2-hour interview with a supporter who was never going to challenge her on anything.

It's such a ridiculous thing for Trump's fans to brag about.

The Trump version has already been called out that it would allow hedge fund managers and the like to call their compensation tips and avoid taxes.
Harris has talked about guarding against that but I think that's a lost cause - the administrative overhead wouldn't be worth it and the real issue is the whole "subminimum wage" thing, not taxes on tips.

It's a cute slogan that doesn't seem to translate into useful policy.

JUST IN: Trump says he's entitled to personal attacks against Kamala Harris because she also attacks him. For instance, she calls him weird, says, "I'm very angry at her for weaponizing the justice system against me and others. It’s infuriating. I think I'm entitled to express personal attacks because I don't have a lot of respect for her or her intelligence. I believe she would make a terrible president, and it's crucial that we win. "Whether the personal attacks are good or bad, it’s important to note that she certainly attacks me personally. She even called me weird. It was just a soundbite, and she called both JD and me weird. But he's not weird. He was a great student at Yale, graduated at the top of his class in two years at Ohio State, and has achieved so much. "On the other hand, we have this guy running a failed state with a terrible career, and he’s the one saying we’re weird? No, he’s the weird guy."

President Trump's press event was absolutely fascinating. There's not another politician who can do what he did. Again, he was on point, sharp, open, and talked about a wide range of issues, especially the economy. Terrific. This is the way campaigns used be run, long before TV and radio. Candidates would speak at length, take questions, and discuss policy. Compare this to Kamala Harris, who is hiding as a matter of campaign policy.

This is very interesting… Trump Spoke to Amazon Jeff Bezos for the First Time, who owns The Washington Post Immediately After, WAPO published a Scathing Story about Kamala Harris’ Horrendous Communistic ‘Price Control’ Plan He then says he believes the New York Times did or is about to publish something similar..
