Besides the obvious moral problems with killing a political figure, assassinating Trump would literally turn him into a martyr for the MAGA crowd- it would elevate him to a Christ/JFK-like figure in their eyes and would certainly appeal to the Q-Anon faithful. The conspiracy theories would go on for generations of cult followers.
