No impossible there is no chance. He is currently doing absolutely all he can to reverse the course of the 2020 elections because he knows once out of power he is fucked.

Wouldn't look good with a pardon on his record, and we ALL know that's just a matter of time whether he self-pardons or Pence does it if/when Trump resigns in January.
His base could not care less and as long as he maintains control of his base he will instill fear in rank and file GOP. Add to that that neither he nor his base are tethered to objective facts and objective reality and the ability to mobilize bots to spread misinformation and lies and you have a recipe for Trump. 2.0.

I think when he goes to jail or absconds the interest may somewhat decrease
I dunno about absconding? Where would he go? He’d need a host country that does not have an extradition treaty with the US, so that kinda limits his options to mostly shithole countries like Russia or North Korea?
Maybe he could just seek diplomatic asylum at the Russian embassy in Washington and run Trumpworld from there...sorta like Julian Assange at the Ecuadoran embassy in London (until they’d had enough and kicked him out).
He's got some serious legal issues coming up but his base would probably care more if he ends up going bankrupt again.
Its highly doubtful he is going to jail. Whether or not you like it, it's fair or whatever it will tear the nation apart. And do far more damage than letting it go.
An investigation will happen for distraction and the Dem AG in NY will declare insufficient evidence. Because they want to have a career they will go along with it. And the other reason is they don't want every GOP DA deciding to go after Dems in every swing state. There is a nice cushy truce over prosecutions and that will end it.

True, meanwhile Melania could also bring a lawsuit against him with regards to how he cheated on her with Stormy and various other porn stars / Playboy Models. She could then be awarded a substantial sum and then walk away with a luxurious life and not give a shit about what then happens to his various other lawsuits and embezzlements!!
