First paragraph of the article.

"Canada, following the lead of the United States and European Union, said on Monday it would impose a 100% tariff on imports of Chinese electric vehicles and announced a 25% tariff on imported steel and aluminum from China.
The duties apply to all EVs shipped from China, which would include those made by Tesla"

The U.S. imposed their sanctions in May while the E.U.imposed theirs in July.

I'm all for tariffs on Tesla.

But it has to be balanced by more subsidies for north american EV's.

Trudeau puts tariffs on Chinese products...crickets.

I think Elon is placing his own self induced tariffs on his Teslas by alienating the only folks who would even consider buying his shit boxes, the lefties.

So the only EVs imported from China are Tesla cars for now. This will be slapped with a 100% tariff in Canada.
What is your point when you are the one questioning Frankfooter for quoting Tesla in the first place, as if it was not made in China?
Trump does not oppose it, but the only one who does so is of course Musk:
