So this morning I reheated the other half of of a sausage and peppers sanguichi I didn't finish. Put on the internet radio and this special Petty song came on. He's presentable but subversive, the polar opposite of Huey Lewis. That's why I like him.

Petty is quietly subversive...is it a well put together transgender?

The person who is lip syncing at the around the 3:00 mark has the body of a woman but a very masculine face, ........the Kinks song, "Lola" did not have an official video, but maybe this person could have been in it too if they did ! As an aside, Tom Petty seems to have composed alot of mellow, laid back songs with profound meanings, great music to listen to while under the influence of mild controlled or uncontrolled substances.

My favorite Petty song ever.

I saw him in 2010, and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to, because it was one of the few where it didn't seem like the band was at work. They all seemed like they were having a great time, and that made it great for everybody.

I was there too. In fact I've been to every show they've done in Toronto since the late 80's. Tom Petty is one of the most consistent (by that I mean great) songwriters of out time and one of the best live bands, period.

Mudcrutch was Petty's first band. They reformed and released their Mutcrutch 2 earlier this year. I love this song!

For someone who said he's never liked making videos, he's sure made some good ones over the years.

There's a lot of great Tom Petty songs. I've always loved Southern Accents, and his Traveling Wilbury stuff is classic. I get an enormous kick out of the harmonies at the end of "Walls"
