A bit of debris? I think it's important to recognize that all these buildings were built at the same time, with the same materials, and with the same methods. To compare them directly to any other buildings, China or elsewhere, is ridiculous. Any flaw or weakness in the design or materials used in the WTC would naturally be reflected in all. If you agree that the Twin Towers were brought down by the impact of the airplanes, which if you don't I'm out of this discussion because it becomes endless mental wanking, why would you think someone would choose the opportunity to specifically bring down WT7? The Reason the WTC main towers collapased was because of the intense fire in the middle of the building from the jet fuel. The buildings were hollow in that the main strength of the buildings is in the exterior steel. The planes punctured almost a whole side clean weakening the building. Once the jet fuel heat and burning debris starts to cook any interior structure, the steel will start to heat up and weaken. Jet fuel burns around 1500F and steel isn't that strong at that point. Do that for close to an hour and the steel starts to go taffy like. Once that happens, the upper floors weight starts to collapse downwards and momentum of all that weight coming down takes the whole building down. As for other buildings...they are other buildings. Different fires, different construction. The WTC were basically steel tubes with little structural strength inside of those tubes save some load bearing structure around the stair/elevator wells...which were cooked by the fire from the jet fuel.

Science can easily explain how those towers came down and again, when you guys show me the engineering explaination of how those buildings came down, we can have that discussion. The towers came down as a result of the impact of 300000 plus pounds of loaded 767's with jet fuel at 300 knots plus. I have no idea on the exact reason building 7 came down, but I would be willing to wager having 70 plus floors of debris coming down right next door twice in the space of an hour might have had a little to do with it. Just a thought.
