BJ vs Kenflo......... Just don't see how Kenflo wins this one. Penn
A.Silva vs Griffin... Silva's to skilled and Forrest will try to brawl with him. Silva
Amir vs Hendricks.. Hendricks was picked to loose this one and he will
Grove vs Almeida... Tough to call but Almeida by submission
Neer vs Pelligrino.. Pelligrino by decision

Yeah.... this is a weak card even with Spider and Forrest and a bit of a downer after 100 last month. Think I'll skip it. I'm going to the Ticats/Esks game anyway.

Silva is just much too quick and accurate for Forrest in the standup. Only chance Forrest has is to try for a quick takedown and go for a surprise submission like a heel hook or ankle lock in the first round.

I think Kenflo will be a surprise upset. He's extremely dedicated to his training and has the hunger to win as witnessed in his last few fights against some pretty impressive opponents. Ring rust might be a factor though as he hasn't fought since Nov08.

I wouldn't bet against Silva either. Very good striker. And he is very good on the ground, so I don't know if he will be submitted. Very difficult to take down anyway. He's undefeated in his last nine fights.

On the other hand, changing weight can be tricky. And its very difficult to stay on top. To keep that mental edge. Silva's last fight was a 5 round decision. Is he losing his edge? I think the fight is his to lose. If he's in top form, no way he will lose.

Anderson Silva seldom gets hit during the fights. My bet is he will beat Forrest Griffin.

Would be very interesting to see Fedor vs. Brock Lesnar if UFC can arrange it. I heard the negotiation with Fedor failed.

burt-oh-my!

Has Silva EVER been submitted? He's a slippery rascal. Forest has to knock him out, otherwise Silva all the way. probably by submitting Forrest

Anyone know where to find this for free, live, on internet?
Try here. http://ls3-tv.webs.com/
They may have live streaming for the show but be prepared for slowness
due to large number of people who log in to watch for free.
UFC 100 was streamed in live there but it was really slow as several thousands viewers logged in to watch and chat online.

I've never seen that before. That is impressive. Very fast. I wouldn't count on Silva letting that happen again though.

Silva has been so lame in his last few fights, who knows what to expect. He might come out very hard and intensely, just to silence the critics, in which case he could get caught. Or he might be bored again and turn away, and have another terrible fight.

I think that Florian has a chance against Penn, Penn is so inconsistent in his training and commitment, if he is bored fighting back at lightweight, Kenflo is good enough to take advantage.

Silva and Penn are both quite heavily favoured to win.

If Silva has been "lame" then you must say that his opponents have been down right fucken shit in his last few fights, hopefully Forrest will make it an interesting fight

That is true, his lameness must be kept in perspective. He was still much better than his opponents, he just didn't seem too interested in fighting them, if they had been more aggresive they might have had a chance to catch him.

The first fight Silva fucked around too much and by the time he looked like he was getting down to business Cote took himself out....

Second fight Leites made things difficult because he kept flopping on his ass everytime Silva mounted an offensive...

My picks....

Penn over Florian....
The only way I can see Florian beating Penn is with kicks (especially to the leg - Penn is not the best defensively when it comes to checking kicks)....Maybe Florian try to outpoint Penn (hit and move) but that will be tough for five rounds....
I think Penn will tap Florian out in the third or fourth round after knocking him around with his boxing...

Silva over Griffin....
Silva is just too much for Griffin...Griffin's only chance is to try to smother him with his size and take him down and Ground and Pound him....The only way I can see Forrest winning is by Decision....I think Silva will KO him in the second or third...

.

Forrest is not slick enough to pull of a suprise submission like a Heel Hook....Silva is a BJJ Black Black Belt and train with some of the best Submission Guys in the world...

And Forrest is not known for Finishing his fights (standing and on the ground)...
