I think the people who originally did the "let's pretend MLK only said one thing and that he would be a conservative" get some chutzpah points, but these days it is just people who bought the line and are too ignorant to learn the truth.
Pretending MLK was pro-conservative or that his beliefs can be summed up by the one line in the one speech people know is just laughably ignorant.
I suppose I really should be angry about it but it is just so ludicrous when people say things like you said that I have to laugh about it, even if laughing at that kind of thing instead of angrily denouncing it is part of how things got this way.
Exactly why one race should not be given preferential treatment for college/university admission. We need a level playing field for all.

Much preferable if your father can buy your way into university. The stable genius was a stellar student who goy into Wharton because of his incredible marks. Why just look at his college transcript. Oh wait a second. Or how about hos high school transcript. Oh wait a second. And then there was the time that the Obamas had their lawyer write to their high schools and universities threatening to sue if they released any transcripts. Oh wait a second. ...
