I think the people who originally did the "let's pretend MLK only said one thing and that he would be a conservative" get some chutzpah points, but these days it is just people who bought the line and are too ignorant to learn the truth.

Pretending MLK was pro-conservative or that his beliefs can be summed up by the one line in the one speech people know is just laughably ignorant.
I suppose I really should be angry about it but it is just so ludicrous when people say things like you said that I have to laugh about it, even if laughing at that kind of thing instead of angrily denouncing it is part of how things got this way.
Exactly why one race should not be given preferential treatment for college/university admission. We need a level playing field for all.

President Biden clearly said he will pick a black woman for the SCOTUS regardless of her qualifications even if there are purple justices who are more qualified. So, no black males or non-blacks or purple people need apply even if they are more qualified.
