Milan 1 Inter 0

The "Special One" gets outcoached by the lowly Carlo Ancelotti, it seems he never expected to see Ronaldinho and Seedorf on the same pitch.

I saw most of the 2nd half...Inter looked disjointed and out of ideas. But its still early in the season.

High flying Lazio still lead the table...oh and 2 more for Zarate :)

Same old problem with Arsenal. Control the ball, great passing, try to walk the ball into the net, and lose.
Not to mention the inability to defend corner kicks. C'mon Arsene, you should be able to sort that out, we've been giving a ton goals away at set pieces for 3 years now. Even Hull's coach could figure that out.

Milan will not be adding to their silverware this year. They made a CRITICAL mistake in bringing back Shevchenko when the money could have been put to better use in signing Andrea Coda (23). Next summer he will become the world's most expensive center back and Wenger will be right in the middle of the bidding.

Milan got lucky against Lazio; Foggia was nursing a thigh injury and could not start. Metuzalem is too slow and cannot spring the Laziali attack like Patsy Foggia does.

Not a chance in hell. One thing Wenger doesn't do is sign older has been players.

Becks, I think he is referring to Coda who is only 23. However, I do agree that there is no chance in hell that Wenger would sign Shevchenko. But what would be interesting is whether wenger would re-sign Henry if he wanted to come to Arsenal to finish out his career.

I dont want Henry back...he turned his back on Arsenal.

Speaking of which, perhaps Hull should petition a move to the Portuguese league because Porto looked brutal. Arsenal could have had 10 and that isn't even exaggerating. There was no hangover from the Hull game but its a grim reminder that Arsenal wont win anything if they keep dropping these games....these are points you need!

How about Bate holding Juve to a 2-2 draw? They were even up 2-0!

Just thought I would point out that Barcelona are thrashing Atletico Madrid 5-1, and there is still 10min left in the 1st half.

Chelsea loses to Pool, ManU ties and Arsenal win. Hull and Villa keeping within striking distance, here's hoping that the EPL race will remain as interesting as Serie A and La Liga. We know the EPL is the most entertaining, but the winner is usually predicatable.

Go Gunners:D

I dont like the slate of mid-week games...especially since I cant watch Arsenal/Tottenham!

Liverpool have beaten ManU and Chelsea this season but I still think they will falter.

Maybe I am GLAD I didnt see the end of that Arsenal game...how do you piss away a 2 goal lead in the dying minutes to Tottenham of all teams? Still early and 6 points isn't much but they're out of the title race whether they want to admit it or not.

NAAAAAAAAAAAPOLIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!

England fans, do you still want Steve McLaren back?

Why are Napoli and Udinese on top of Serie A; their defence is so good that their offense is playing with complete confidence. Center Back Fabiano Santacroce (Napoli) and goalie Samir Handanovic (Udinese) are superstars in the making. All you Serie A skeptics, if you can watch one match, let it be Napoli - Milan. It will be a "cracker".:D

Arsenal are toast...soon as they lost to Fulham you knew it wasn't going to be their season, just emphasizes that their lack of transfer activity is going to bite them in the ass. I think Walcott and Adebayor are out as well!

LMAO, where do they get this stuff!

http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=944708

Tottenham 2 Liverpool 1
Juventus 2 Roma 0
Siena 1 Fiorentina 0

Spurs and Wolves; brothers in misery. What did fans expect when you don't replace Berbatov, Keane, Mancini and Giuly with players of equal quality. Roma's plight may be more dire; when DDR is your best defender you'll end up in a relegation dogfight. Roma made matters worse by going with Doni over Curci in goal. The latter was loaned out to Siena where he'll assuredly keep them in Serie A.

Udinese 2 Genoa 2 (The return of Tiago Motta)

The scoreline is flaterring to Udinese, had it not been for Super Han the Friulani would have gotten rocked. Brazil was grooming Tiago Motta to be the midfield rock that would guide their cavalcade of superstars to international glory. Pity for him, in early 2006, he broke his leg and missed Barcelona's championship season and Germany06. Since then he's been slow to recover and has had his share of complications from the initial injury. In September he arrived in Genoa on a free transfer - the club has gone undefeated since. If Motta can stay healthy I don't see anyone defeating Brazil in South Africa.

The grapevine suggests that Michael Owen could be Genoa bound and wear the Griffoni strip in January.
