No, I never said children GET the surgery. I said that giving them puberty blockers PUTS THEM ON THE INEVITABLE road to surgery.

So the question is actually simple. Is a 10/11 year old boy or girl mentally and emotionally capable of making the decision to get surgery a decade later? When they are an adult but never went through puberty. And to be sterilized as an end result?

I say no.

I fully support funding transgender surgery, and all of the steps leading up to it, including the drugs, councilling, support, all of it. I just don't support it until they are adults. Its a harder road. But a necessary one to ensure mistakes aren't made

I said in stores and other businesses. I didn't see many Canadian flags in stores or windows of stores or businesses but I did see a lot of pride flags. Are you telling me you saw more Canadian flags than pride flags? If you did you're either inventing something or it's conformation bias.

To be clear I'm talking about the bottom surgery. Although ask any breast cancer patient of the trauma of a mastectomy and its still pretty bad.

In stores and businesses, yes. That's where I saw plenty of Canadian flags. And yes, more than pride flags.

I'm not sure how you're saying it's confirmation bias when I wasn't actively out trying to be offended or trying to see something. I can't have confirmation bias because I wasn't out looking to confirm anything.

Here is a new warning about side effects including sterilization. From the FDA. Which btw HAS NOT approved puberty blockers for transgender minors.

Basically doctors are doing the same thing they did with Ivermactin.

Hmm. Is there a reason why you're relying on an Alabama news report instead of an actual FDA statement?

The FDA site has an easy search function but it must be flawed because I can't find any warning about GnRH agonists causing sterilization.
