I have yet to see any proof of summary executions by Hamas. How people died is lost in the fog of war. There were many allegations of mass, organized rape and NONE of this has been substantiated. That said all kinds of abuses happen in war and I don't doubt there were some crimes committed. But there are a lot of armed people in a kibbutz and there were also many hamas and Israelis killed by the IDF. In one of the few documented cases I read the IDF blew up a house with Israelis hostages and their Hamas captors even though the Israelis spoke to them on the phone and they knew they were there. There was one survivor that told the story I believe. Will Israel agree to release all its hostages if Hamas does? Why not? The whole crux of negotiations has been release of hostages and permeant ceasefire. Israel has obstructed this continually. So its really Israel that is not interested in peace. In any case, occupiers are not considered civilians. So if you occupy land, try and live as a civilian, and you get killed, that is because you have chosen to enter a warzone. So the people that kill you for occupying their land are legally allowed to kill you. Heck even in Florida that is true lol.
