You were talking about balancing the budget. Not ArriveScan. ArriveScan procurement may have been sus but the app itself was actually very useful as I used it multiple times during the pandemic to travel to India and back in 2021 and 2022.
But back on topic, tell me, how you would balance the budget? What does that look like to you? You dont even know what "balance the budget" actually means and yet here you are talking about it. As Is said, its typical of righties.

The only cons who have ever balanced a budget were in Alberta, where they wasted oil revenues for low taxes instead of setting up a Norway like $1 trillion fund for the people. Yes and he is not required to explain how the budget needs to be balanced, because the purpose of his statement was to call out the conservative bullshit about artificially balancing the budget by cutting services to people who most need them. So saying "we need to grow the economy and take care of people first" is more than sufficient and in that context his usage of those words were appropriate.
