Hypothesis it is then....
I will not even call it a hypothesis, I call it nonsense and bullshit for herding in some more gullible folks.

Masks were never as effective as they were touted. However if you want to keep wearing them outdoors and in your car then have at it. You know your own personal protest in support of authoritarian measures and big pharma.
I haven't worn a mask since the mandates have been lifted but they did work as proven by influenza disappearing during the mask mandates. It really isn't rocket science, it just takes a little wee bit of common sense.

Masks don't work against influenza...

So are the brains of the anti-maskers.

No other explanation why they use the same tired excuses no matter how many scientific studies they get provided showing the exact opposite
You need to just concede that you were wrong about the masks.

Staying in denial is a bad look for you

At 30 cents a tab who cares?....Oh yeah Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and their partners the WHO and the CDC.
Yes, Pfizer investigated using IV to treat covid so they could profit more from a drug that they already were producing.

But sure, endorse IV and the little blue pills while claiming Big Pharma is the devil. Sounds sensible.

You need something called evidence for what you say. It was years ago that we had to explain to you that covid leaves your mouth in droplets, not as free virions yet here you are going right back to your classics as if everyone else has forgotten about reality.

p.s. Do you know how stupid it looks for someone who promoted N95 masks as the only effective solution to celebrate sources that N95s conclude that N95s were ineffective?

P.S. do you know how stupid people look when they cant admit that masks didnt work??

Oh man,lol........Pfizer doesn't make Ivermectin. It's made by Edenbridge and Merck. The patent expired years ago so there's diddly squat to be made.

That's why they came up with Paxlovid. Which they patented and made a fortune off . Even though it didn't work as well. Keep on shilling for Big Pharma though.....

But no reputable, well conducted trial has ever shown that Ivermectin works.

Again with missinformation.
You are correct that virus particles are smaller than bacteria but surgical masks filter down to .007 microns, while the 80 % of virus particles are over .1 micron.
https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/can-masks-capture-coronavirus/
Right, and that means almost half of all viral particles get through the mask, which makes it worthless.
You need masks to be close to 100% to be effective in halting a pandemic.

Also, your link correctly shows N95 masks work the best, which is what I've been saying for the last 2 years

Isn't that the case if both parties are masked? Very unlikely particles will get through if both folks are masked during a pandemic.

I wonder if my thicker white envelope arrived on Doug's desk to bring back the mask mandates. How sweet it would be to read the whining and the bellyaching of having to wear masks. I would go and visit Costco and Walmart just to watch folks not allowed in. OH HOW I MISS those days.

Not getting how 80% of particles over .1 microns being stopped by a mask that filters down to .007 microns equates to half.
I have never said that N95 masks are inefficient, I wear them almost everyday at work, sometimes an entire shift except for change outs every 2 hours or less depending on contamination rate and of course breaks, lunch, rehydration, ETC.
If used corectly all masks are effective along with distancing, hand washing ETC., the average person would not know how to use an N95 correctly.
I have seen people in public with them on, some sideways with the straps over each ear or upside down.
I have also seen them worn without the nose piece being piched correctly, so I doubt they even did a fit test after putting them on.
Not to mention the number of people wearing all types of masks on the top of their upper lip or pulling them down to speak.
PPE is only effective when worn properly and I have recieved trainiing in this through work and I am recertified every two years as per OSHA regulations, the average person does not get this training.
Masks are effective, the problem is with the users.

I'll grant you that. If an N95 masks isnt fitted properly it wont work well.
Also if you dont wash or disinfect a mask daily you can actually make the mask dirtier.

The bottom line when masks were mandated during the pandemic the numbers didnt come down.
Masks had zero effect in reducing infection cases.

Its the truth.

The only thing that worked really well were lockdowns.

Masks are effective, it has been proven, the problem is with the users.
This "graph" compares 11 states to 39, hardly a debateable outcome.
