Apparently, it was his friend and not Ortiz who was the intended target.

Complete BS. Ortiz was clearly the target as you can see on the video. Also, there is a huge shady side to Ortiz behind that smile. He was investigated for being involved in some gambling ring back in the day. Some dude that was living at his house was betting against Boston. They couldn't prove everything but the guy get deported back to the DR. Ortiz was run off the road about a month earlier wrecking his car and it was purposely kept out the of the media. Shit is finally catching up with him.

Warning: This could be fake news.

Apparently, there is talk that the Rays might play half their game in Montreal. I think the Rays are only drawing 14,000 or less per game.

Confirmed on RSO tonight. But just a talking point at this time.

The Rays draw shit in TB. So they couldn't draw any worse in MTL, which is the largest unclaimed demographic centre north of the Mexican border. The unworkable idea is that TWO cities would share 1 team. Hard to see how a city would support a team it only sees for 1/2 the season. (Of course, Tampa doesn't support their team anyway and neither did Mtl. So?.... )

I wonder why Kawhi isn't in one of the private boxes? Will he stay the whole game?

Is it a coincidence that an L.A. team is playing?

P.S. I have a pic of my GF swinging a bat in front of Angel Stadium.

No chance this retarded idea gets off the ground. This is the Rays attempt to threaten the city to get public funding for a stadium. What kind of fucking pro sports team is going to be the home team for two different cities??? That's just retarded in every capacity.

Maybe the schedule maker knew a year ago knew that the Raps would win and set up this game against the Angels.

Is that what you are suggesting? How else would your conspiracy theory work?

Vladdy Jr will take part in HR derby .
He is probably setting a record...competing in the home run derby with the fewest number of career home runs.

Dumb ass idea. So far he has been, at best, mediocre. He has shown nothing to indicate he is all star caliber. I don't see where it is a win for him the Jays or the fans unless he surprises the hell out of everyone. After swinging for the fences a lot of players have had trouble getting their stroke back, so far V Jr. hasn't had a consistent stroke.
They should consider sending him to Buffalo to work on his D and see if he can regain the stroke he previously enjoyed as he worked his way through the minors.
I haven't given up on him but he is still a work in progress that was over hyped!

Just an FYI, after his few couple of weeks he was batting .337 with 7 HR's and an OPS over 900. Then got hit on the hand and started to struggle a bit. This just in, this kid is really fucking good.

1,500 at bats will be the bench mark for Vladdy.

According to Buck Martinez, that's the number of at bats for a young batter to become a good hitter or not.

Fuck'n Eckersley, hypocrite , he took exception to the fact that Stroman stared in to Red Sox dugout as he screamed "YEAHHHH!!!!" when he struck out the last batter he faced.

Eck was notorious for doing just that.

Great game today, 6-1 Jays, Gurriel jr becoming quite the player, 3 hits and another laser beam assist.

I don't have an opinion. I'm simply telling you the numbers. Take those numbers and process them however you want
The way I process that is either his hand is still bothering him, or its just coincidence that he started sucking around the same time he got injured

Here
Very painful to watch the unraveling of Aaron Sanchez...

He probably was the pitcher with the best stuff, talent and the brightest future in the BJ's organization over the past 5 years or so.

What is next for him? Will anyone give more than a bag of peanuts for him on a trade?

This just in...he has his moments but....so far...…..not so much! He has a ton of upside and should be one hell of an offensive player. His D needs work!
If what he has shown to date is as good as he gets, then big disappointment!
