In other news, pretty safe to say Tulo's career is over now that Didi is back. Yanks sent him home and I don't think they've told him to come back.

I'm sure he'll find another team to be on the IR with.

Now that the NHL and NBA playoffs are done, I am reduced to watching the Jays. On the other hand, I watched a good CFL game between Ottawa and Calgary last night.

Allow me to refresh your memory folks, this was the post WC Champions era.

It was a game between the Jays and the Indians. A Jays batter was taken out of the game after being HBP. It was incumbent on the Jays starter (David Wells) to exact retribution. He was scared shitless, the first batter he faced was Albert Belle - he hit him anyway.

God your going way back here so it's impossible for us to weigh in, but my guess is the retaliation was because there was intent on the Jays hitter or guys are clearly being brushed back. That's how it starts. If a guy throws a pitch that gets away from him and everyone can tell there was no intent to hit the batter, peace prevails.

The Toronto Blue Jays are a bad major league baseball team.
On this, I think most of us can agree.

As of today, the Blue Jays are on pace to finish 11-12 games ahead of the Baltimore Orioles.

The Edwin Jackson thingy continues, Law pitches a scoreless first, Jackson comes on to pitch the second as I type he has allowed 6 hits 7 earned runs, I failed to mention Jays had scored in their half of the first. ERA will be going up.

The Jays are so bad I decided to watch the NHL trophy awards last night. Auston Matthews was selected as poster boy for some computer game.
