This issue has been the subject of several threads. I think what is happening in Toronto is that the politicians and LE are taking a sensible, practical, pragmatic approach to the law. Basically, they will not be charging people for engaging in private consensual adult wambo minki. The important factors are PRIVATE, CONSENSUAL and ADULT. Beware: If you live in York Region, you will be considered a menace to society and will be charged and your name will be published and they will put a "hooker" sign on your front lawn.

...and you will get terbites knocking at your door every night between 11pm and 3am, and sometimes around lunchtime.

Awhile back I did a fairly rough estimate of the economics of independant SP vs. agency SP and though it is far to detailed to get into here there is are some definite points in which girls have to be doing business in order to be profitable.

Agency ladies are basically independant contractors so working at an agency they are sharing overhead with other contractors, this reduces several basic expenses and often frees up many hours of admin. time so in theory they may make more per hour by subcontracting out any nonclient related issues. Some ladies like myself and Gen for example work for an agency but choose to spend non-billable hours interacting with our clients online, this may or may not reduce our ROI, as some might argue it could also increase it by being hands on with marketing and brand.

In contrast independants are required to handle all aspects of their business themselves, however many are too busy with the day to day administrative duties such as fielding basic inquiries, paying invoices, etc. to even consider brand management. I don't want to get into too many specifics here as I don't want to single out any of the girls that over the years were kind enough to talk to me about their business but there appears to be a way to be profitable at the very high client volume and very low client volume but not much in the middle as an independant. An agency girl on the otherhand has much more flexibility in her profit model and can generally be profitable at all levels if she chooses.

I've asked this question in other threads but I might as well repeat it here:) .

Why don't more sps promote themselves by getting into daily terb conversations and engaging in some fun banter with the terb guys?

IMHO here are my favorite terb online sp ladies in no particular order. Kyra of GOE, Gen of select, Ashton of cupids, Becky of Mirage and Lisa of Toronto.

It might also be easier to be an indy if this is your only job, but for someone in school or with another job, it would be almost impossible IMO because of the time consumption answering emails and calls, most of which are dead ends.
I started as a student and would answer my phone when I got home from school each day.. most clients booked with 1/2 hr notice for a 1/2 hr incall. Easy Peezy..

re: independant vs. agency. I have been independant for 19 of my 20 years escorting.. as soon as I realized I didn't need an agency.. I stopped using one. Back then I needed to pay for advertising in the paper (Now Magazine was the only way and then Eye weekly followed suit..eventually the Sun).

Prior to that the yellow pages were the only way to go and agencies were the norm.. I also added identi-call so I had a 2nd # with a separate ring. Keeping in mind this was before cell phone use. Now being an indy is virtually painfree with respect to cost. Internet advertising is very cost effective compared to the paper ads and email cost effective compared to the phone.

The main reason for an agency was/would be for me.. if I only wanted to do outcalls. But as a student I managed to get 3 other girlfriends interested in the idea of doing incalls back in the 80's and away we went..

Personally I found with respect to loser factor/risk factor I had better results when I answered the phone myself than when I worked for an agency... but not all agency owners are as interested in the quick buck and as disinterested in the escort's emotional/physical health as mine was. She really lost out b/c I wouldn't have gone indy had she taken better care of me.

Believe it or not.. most of my clients don't come from terb.. some don't even know about it or have a computer! Alot of terbites and even lurkers never book an escort.. they just like to talk about it.

Here are a couple of cervix questions:
1) Sometimes I feel an object shaped like the end of my ring finger (minus the nail) at the back end of the vagina. This object extends about a half inch into the vagina. Its surface area is extremely smooth and is wet. Is this the famous CERVIX?
you got it mister!

2) How do you ladies really feel when a gent bumps into the cervix during whatever? Be honest now.
depends.. positioning is part of it.. but endorphins are the most important part. For me at least.. it's not the defining aspect of pleasure or pain.

For me, when the penis hits the cervix, I find it painful. I get cramps from it. But then again, I am sensitive. I find someone sticking their finger or tongue in my belly button painful too.

It's been mentioned by a few terbites that many SPs and dancers have
black boyfriends.

Any particular reason?

Black guys aren't as picky about social status or class and care more about how sexy (rather than smart or pretty) their GF is.

(Note I am not endorsing the view that sex workers are lower class but it is a view held by many in our society.)

anyone back that up? it's news to me.. but I'm only speaking from an SP perspective.. can't comment on the dancers (which btw is a different thread) WE - sp's and dancers are not interchangeable. Some may do both but most don't.
Out of about a dozen sp's I'm close with.. 3 have dated or are/were married to black men.

I have a couple of questions

When it someones first time using a SP, would the SP like to know that ahead of time? If so would this change the service the SP usually provides?

When contacting a SP by phone, do you like the client to be chatty, direct and to the point (i.e. dicsussing price and services) or an ass (just kidding).

This is a great thread!

BTW, nobody asked, but yes, I do get amused looks by the cashier at Shoppers' Drug Mart when I empty the content of my basket on the counter:

"Economic" jumbo packs of condoms (3 kinds: super thin, big size, non-latex);
Baby wipes;
Massage oil;
Shaving gel and razors;
Pussy soap;
Hand sanitizer;
Breath mints.
There's a special soap for pussy??!! Learn something new everyday.

Uhhh... maybe. OR

1. It might also be a culture that doesn't look down on it as much as the mainstream culture, ie 'black'/'urban'/'ghetto' culture (which is really what we're talking about here, not 'black' the race) may think escorting is a viable job moreso than the mainstream culture.

2. Women who are attracted to escorting may also be attracted to black men.

3. The original statement could be wrong.

I vote #3.
Nearly everyone seems to stick within their own race when dating and escorting is no exception. I know about 40 or so women in the industry well enough to know the men they are dating/have dated, and maybe 5 of them have dated black men, with one (two? not sure) dating EXCLUSIVELY black men. That seems in proportion to the general population.
(I've met several dancers who are dating black men and I don't know many dancers... but it could just be the group of girls I met.)

I would bet you Joy has had her share of black cock in her. Seriously.
This no doubt sounds peculiar being posted on TERB, but don't you believe it is rather tasteless to speculate about someone's sexual history when they didn't invite you to talk about it? I don't recall Joy doing so. Perhaps you could make a claim to relevancy if she was an SP, but she is not, she’s a dancer.

I was replying to somebody who speculated on her not dating black men. Why is that speculation ok but mine not? Are you speculating that she doesn't take cock from those she dates? That'd be pretty spectactular.
