I agree with your comments and that Ivanna, as usual will be the "butt" of many jokes!homonger said:Unfortunately, based on next week's promo, we might have to see her butt.
Tonights show is just a highlight show with some behind the scenes interviews.whynotme said:they moved this weeks episode to to-night (wed)
i think?
It was an amateurish judging of the two bottle designs. One team produces a bottle witha hole in it, which is totally impractical in an operational sense, and get great reviews; the other team is chastized for making a bottle that does not fit in an SUV's cup holder.homonger said:But I think it is ironic that the marketing wackoffs at Pepsi who talk about the hipness of their brand image have put together such a lame commercial for Pepsi Edge. A collector of Coke memorabilia who decides to sell it all because he tried Pepsi Edge? Hank Williams Sr's "Your Cheatin' Heart" playing in the background? That song is from the '50's, for crying out loud. How does that convey the hip Pepsi brand image?
Very fair point, which is why I find so many marketing people annoying. Having participated in plenty of sessions like this, very often there is a rule that ideas should not be yet judged under operational or real world scrutiny. We should only be discussing the merits of the idea. I used to hate these kinds of meetings, btw. For some reason, the first team received this protection but the second one didn't. Ultimately, though, the globe bottle lost because it was judged to be uncool and dorky, not because of its practical flaws.danmand said:It was an amateurish judging of the two bottle designs. You should just accept that Pamela obviously has her good points, even if you can't put your finger on themyychobbyist said:I saw the issue too and a couple of times I had to look at a pic three or four times to see who the hell was in the picture. Don't tell me makeup artists and digital retouching can't work wonders.
Maria's still a hag and Jen C rules.
