No surprise about Kelly. As was said on the show, I think ex-military folks often make great businesspeople. Some of the best people I have ever worked with have been ex-military.

A mild surprise with Jen. I thought Trump and his cronies were on to Jen and her "skate under the radar ways", but apparently not. It is a little confusing to me that Kevin got canned because he was "over-educated" and Sandy got sacked because she was "under-educated". Go figure. I guess Jen was just right.

As I said last year, I don't really understand the notion of bringing back past players to round out the teams for the finalists. They have zero incentive. Are we to think they will be super motivated just because they were fired and want America to have a better impression of them? I doubt it.

Agree. Then again it's not the first time Trump utilized his Trump style logic in choosing who to fire, I suppose he understands what strange sudden twists and drama can do to his show's rating.

Kelly is clearly a better project leader and Jen obviously couldn't lead. If she wins next week, I'll be 500 dead prez in da hole.

'It rained and rained hard. The painters left without even starting their task. Then, Kelly learned that Tony Bennett was coming to perform at the event. All of a sudden, the group needed a stage that they hadn't known about minutes before. Kelly said that they just had fifty things added to the other fifty they were trying to accomplish. In an interview, Kelly admitted to being "very worried" because he had no "plan B." If the polo match were canceled due to a soggy field, Kelly had no backup plan. As the rain came down, all Kelly could do was watch and hope that his dreams of becoming The Apprentice weren't being washed away with the pouring water. But Kelly's event wasn't the only one threatened with disaster. Jennifer M. was on the phone with Chris Webber's assistant and learned that the basketball star slated to headline the event was canceling. In an interview, Jennifer said, "I'm not letting Chris Webber go without a fight." But she also said that losing Chris Webber as the emcee, "...basically blows the entire event." '

IMO, they do it just to keep things interesting. Also, dealing with unmotivated and perhaps disgruntled former contestants is a task for the remaining two in and of itself. Remember Omarosa??

George had it right, but Trump never listens to him. Kelly will be a corporate yes-man.

i think it was kinda vicious how he told jen she was fired.....he had her thinking she won....it just seemed very jerry springer..the cheap pop.....just kinda killed it a bit for me. Couldn't he have just told kelly he was hired?.....

Donald played it safe and hired Kelly.

He should have been more of a risk taker and hired Jen.

Donald, you're fired!

The apprentice 3 looks interesting.....book smarts vs. street smarts now thats an interesting approach!
It would be more interesting if the "Street Smart" people were "Street Criminals", like Drug Dealers, Gang Bangers, Gun Runners, etc...

Now that would be a class of cultures and business pratices.....
