Guerrero has never played like an elite player. Take a minute and think of all the times he has produced a key hit or homer to win a game (i can think of once)...that's why he is always the guy dumping the gatorade. Today perfect example. An elite player would never ground out on the first pitch in the ninth inning with runners on base. The people going to the park to drink beer and who believe hype think he is a star. Even the year he got 48 homers, most were earlier in the year and the big ones were hit by others, notably the second base man.

So if Rogers wants to throw 500 mil at him, thats their decision and their money.....
His playoffs stats so far are the most concerning.

Its only 6 games but he had 25 at bats, just 3 hits, a .136 batting average with 0 homeruns and 1 RBI, and a .422 OPS

As an aside, I'll point out that Rogers recently instituted a $25 shipping fee on all online orders. It used to be you got your phone shipped by courier for free.

Rogers has to get the money from somewhere, right?

and got picked off at the most crucial time. My little league coach would have bawled me out...Vlad just getting more money

Get ready because I think it’s going to happen soon. There’s been some new reports that came out saying they are close. But honestly, he’s playing like such a dud right now. I don’t think this guy can bat second.

What happened to Vladdy saying he wouldn't negotiate during the season...Didn't I read that somewhere or am I wrong?

Vladdy signed for 14 years $500 million

'' In terms of present value, Guerrero’s looming windfall will trail only Juan Soto’s $765-million, 15-year record deal from the New York Mets, and jump ahead of Shohei Ohtani’s $700-million, 10-year contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers, which nets out closer to $460 million, depending on how the deferrals are discounted.''

Yikes...

Comes with a no-trade clause, so he can never be traded unless he specifically asks for it
Really?

I knew a deal was going to get done. There were so many reports that came out over the last few days. Every single podcast was pulling multiple reports about them being very close.

Lol I wish. But I was told they are definitely going to be getting a deal done with Teoscar Hernandez. Apparently, even when they weren’t having him signed yet in the off-season, I was told they do have a very good relationship with his agent and the lines of communication are completely open and they will figure something out.

.. i’ll say it again I love Los Angeles. Go check out a Dodgers game, then go check out the Santa Monica Pier and some filming locations for Threes Company. And then go check out some filming locations of Melrose Place, or like I did in 2023 July went to a Tears for Fears concert at the Hollywood Bowl, go to Six Flags in Valencia, go have some Takoyaki in Little Tokyo and check out the Grammy museum.…. lol nothing is better…

Unfortunately, I later found out in 2023 I was staying at the same hotel John Holmes was notoriously hiding out at after the Wonderland murders. That’s pretty terrifying 🙄.

Horrible deal esp if you cannot trade him

Could have traded him at this year deadline and got some real prospects then used that money for other FAs

He always makes all star team because he is a draw

MLB treated him like a superstar before his debut for same reason

He has had one superstar season and does not produce in clutch and they gave him more than
Ohtani who is the real deal

My guess is the Jays think tank is full of yes men who are afraid to speak their mind
like the Leafs were under Ballard

Is Laurel Canyon still the wild place it was in the 70's?

Scariest part of that post is attending a Tears for Fears concert in 2023…

Scarier than John Holmes hiding out in my same hotel after the Wonderland murders?

The concert was great. Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal were fantastic. I saw them in May 2023 in Toronto and then again in July 2023 in Los Angeles.

Dude, shout, shout let it all out… Everybody Wants to Rule the World and Sowing the Seeds of Love…What’s wrong with you lol.
