The difference between a .250 & .300 hitter?
Explained very well, right here....

And who might that be???
Howie Kendrick of the Phillies??? But the Phillies may want to wait closer to the trade deadline to get the most out of trading him. The Jays may not have what it will take to get him though

Biagini just got completely rocked!! Is he ready for the complete starter role??

I dont know
Too soon to tell. Even the best pitchers have the occasional stinker. Just sayin'.

I wouldn't judge him on that until he gets the chance to start after a full off-season knowing it's coming. Asking him to go from reliever to starter mid-season isn't a fair expectation.

I have this feeling the Jays will never reach .500 this season.

They are like the dogs chasing the mechanical rabbit.:flypig:

Frustrating thing is that the Yankees start to cool off a bit. Jays cannot do anything to make up ground in the lowly ALE! Jays missed Travis bats more than I expected.

Since you are not a fan, there is no need for you to post in this thread.

Looks like Pillar is not a 300 hitter after all and JB is 240 hitter with 30 homer at best very hot cold with his swing timing and same with production from catching and Tulo and with Travis gone without Smoak we would be in deep trouble

I hate to say it but this may BE the 2017 Toronto Blue Jays. We're now almost 3 full months in and we keep hearing how everything will get better once the injured players come back but more just keep getting injured and the hitting continues to be hot or cold and dependent on the long ball. Unfortunately, this may just be what the 2017 Jays are... a bottom tier team (in the East).

This is why I dont think the Jays will ever win a WS with their current long ball strategy. They need a better blend of high average hitters along with some speed on the basepaths. When you play in ALCS or WS you're gonna face the best of the best pitchers, and you're not always gonna be able to swing for the fences against pitchers like that
