Am I the only one to think only Sabalenka can challenge Swatek this year?

Poor Emma she met a destroyer.

If Silent Queen (Rybakina) is injured then Sabalenka has the best chance at beating Iga, You have a 0.01% chance of beating Iga with a Genie Bouchard first serve.

Paula Bedosa had an off year in 2024, she's pushing to get back into the top 10 against sexy Marta Kostyuk.

Iga doesn't play well in Melbourne, she may spend too much time in the city's coffee shops.

19 years old qualifier Tien beat both Medvedev and Moutet and is into the second week of this Grand Slam. (y)

I love Joker. Iga is even more dangerous as a No. 2, she hasn't played well in Melbourne in the past. She scored her 90th career bagel, she can apply for a job at Katz Deli.

Silent Queen playing injured, her serve wasn't as sharp as when she's healthy.

Gia makes his case.

Coming up: Joker vs Carlito.

If you were to ask me which Canadian tennis player is most likely to win a Grand Slam in the next 6 years, this would be my answer. 18 years old and kicking ass on the Challenger circuit. IMG_0272.png

The heaviest serve in tennis.

Give Medvedev a big primary assist. That was the net he massively abused earlier in the tournament. Hopefully the $67K he was fined will be enough to pay for the repairs.

Sinner doesn't actually have the fastest serve, does he?

Not the fastest, the heaviest their is a difference.

Paula Badosa makes it clear that 2025 will be different.

Emma Navarro faces her toughest test, Iga is at her most dangerous when she's No. 2. Her last 3 opponents have taken four games combined against her.

Ho Hum, total domination by Gia against Di Minaur, Shelton and Sonego put on a better match.

Is Silent Queen wasting her talent. Ivanisevic was Joker's coach during his best years.

Agree. Sonego's ground game was quite good. Better than I expected especially against a very strong (physically, not tactically) kid like Shelton.

Out of curiosity, is the pronunciation SOHN eh go, which is what they are using, correct. I was thinking it may actually be sohn-EH-go. Who better to ask than you?
