Has anybody had an easier run to the semis than Joker? All of the tougher seeds were on the other half of the draw. Medved, Sinner, Alcaraz, Zverev gets knocked out and De Minaur withdraws from the quarters. And now he plays the 25th seed in the semis.
After the incident with Ruuuune, he'll be hearing it from the crowd.
On the women's side it's Elena Rybakina's title to lose.
The last time Joker faced Musetti, it went to five sets. Joker may be fresher but he's facing a 15 year age gap.

They won their games. Obviously. But some star power is generally needed to generate excitement. None exists. Happy for Paolini. She plays far above her 5' 4" frame

Center Court sold out, so much for star quality.
Paolini had energy to spare, in the past she played like a headless chicken. She's learned how to harness her energy. Vekic dominated the first set, Paolini's only chance was to take the match to three sets. Vekic got gassed, yet she hung in there, awesome match!

Jasmine Paolini: The first player since Serena Williams to make consecutive finals at French Open and Wimbledon in the same season. A star has been born. So tiny and yet the heart of a lion. Incredible fighter
I suspect they were sold out before the tournament ever began.
Silent Queen is now 19 - 3 at Wimbledon. She took command in the first set - then it turned into an Andy Murray vs Milos Raonic match. Barbora Krejcikova (sp) goaded her into unforced error, Rybakina is fearsome with her service/return of serve, usually she can mask her faults. Not today, at times she looked like she had two left feet. Krejcikova vs Paolini on Saturday.
Unfortunately responsibilities mean I'll miss Carlito's match. Hopefully I can complete my tasks to catch at least two set of Musso vs Joker. Of course I'll be supporting Musetti, yet it has to be said, Novak Djokovic is not just the GOAT he's also Da Man.

What Paolini and Krejcikova lacked in star power, they more than made up for it in guts and determination. For them both to lose the first set and battle back to win on the biggest stage in tennis speaks to massive internal fortitude. Should be a great final
Didn't get to watch either match today. After getting a full match walkover in QFs, Joker must have been fresh as a daisy, Musetti didn't have much of a chance.
