Tuck and secure the ball as opposed to extending it and worst case, they have the ball at about the 1 or 2. With Jackson they'd make a TD from there 95% of the time or more. They didn't HAVE to score on that play. It would have been nice but they didn't have to at the risk of coughing it up.
Tuck and roll, tag and release or duck and cover would have also been better.

It was an instinctive reaction play by Flowers. He wanted to score by diving for the end zone. It was not an unusual play. It is done successfully thousands of times by all receivers. The defender just made an excellent play.

OK what's your Super Bowl call? I've been going back and forth with my pick but I think I'm going to settle on SF because its super tough to repeat. Give me the Niners -1.5 and Christian McCaffrey for MVP. The first RB to win Super Bowl MVP this century. Something he's more than capable of and long overdue.

Player props

1. Travis Kelce > 71.5 receiving yards.
2. Deebo Samuel > 58.5 receiving yards
3. Patrick Mahomes < 26.5 rushing yards

I predict a 24-14 win for San Fran

Here is my prediction.
1st quarter -Niners come out nervous and Chiefs take early lead.
2nd quarter - Niners calm down and start completing pass after pass. Grind out with run game in last 5-6 minutes of quarter and take the lead into the half.
Halftime show - don't care to watch and go to the washroom, bake a few premade cookies(chocolate chip):):).

3rd quarter - both teams score and Niners keep lead into 4th quarter.
4th quarter - KC commits a turn over and Niners capitalize(TD) and get field goal after KC gets the ball back and goes 3 & out. KC comes back and scores a late TD but Niners grind it out with run game. KC gets ball back deep in their own zone but time runs out.

Niners win by 4 points.

Love these predictions! Keep them coming!

I’m going with Kansas City 31-28 in a thriller game. Ultimately, KC defence is slightly better. SF will double cover Kelce, opening it up for Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Pacheco will counterpunch. With all due respect to Brock Purdue, Cinderella-story quarterbacks never win the big one. Should be close though, maybe one for the ages.

Biggest question that 49ers defence will get will be
Why didn't you spy Mahommes on those 3rd down plays where the Defence parted like the fucking red sea!!??

Big second half for Kelce and Mahomes....Mahomes is unreal.

Just when I think he can't outdo himself he does.

Tony Romo is awesome to listen too....I thought I knew the game and hear him break it down and I feel humbled.

Andy Reid and staff make the right adjustments every game it feels like. Great game.

The constant cuts to Taylor Swift I find so annoying but I'm probably showing my age,lol...

Wait, what?

Jordan Peepeeson and Joe Rogaine know more than Romo.

What in the world made you think you "knew the game"?
