This might be an urban legend, but I heard that it was about Billy Martin.
Martin had been feuding with an umpire for the first two games of a series. The umpire warned him that he'd be tossed if he argued another call. In the third game, the umpire was manning first base. After a close play on a throw to first where Martin's player was ruled out, Billy ran onto the field, stood in front of the umpire with his hands two feet apart, and said "I know a place where the fish are THIS long!".
