Sorry to bring it up but I'm bored and alone. I was coming home from work last night and going up to my floor in the elevator and another neighbor commented on how it had finally started raining after weeks of drought. Back to typical Vancouver fall weather. I said. Rain is ok with me. I moved from back east to get away from snow. He paused and then said. "That must have been a long time ago". I said. As far as I know, it still snows back east every year. He seemed to want to argue the point but I got to my floor and got out. WTF?

A few years ago I was on an elevator with another chap and the door opened unexpectedly at the 12th floor. Neither of us moved towards the door. He asked if I got off there. I said no. Not very private and very uncomfortable. :)

okay. i got one. i was waiting for an elevator to arrive. at the ground floor. and this really hot russian lady with the nicest hips and the prettiest face stood waiting also. i just peeked at her. then this much older guy. wearing the thickest black shades. like blind people wear. and had a walking cane too. mustve been in his 70s. came along. waiting for the elevator also. he started chatting up the pretty russian lady (that was just half his age and twice his height) and he just went on and on. and then we all got on the elevator. he kept talking to her in the elevator. a few floors up. the elevator opened and they both got off the same floor. leaving me to wonder if he scored with that.

For sure he scored. There is no way that they just simply lived on the same floor. :)

Dont want to hijack the thread (maybe i already did) but just some pet peeves on elevator courtesy. I find it everyday Im in my office. Im inside and the doors open to get off. usually the people waiting to get on stand back and wait for it to unload but every single time at my office, ignorant rude people rush through the offloading car to get on before people get off. I get so frustrated I just stand there in the middle of the door (Im a pretty big guy) until all they get it and move the fuck outta the way. Another is when the call button has obviously been pressed and lit up and there is always a loser or two that thinks if they press it again it might come faster. People certainly are strange.

Certainly not THAT easy. Perish the thought :( However, these things tend to be a matter of degrees. Perhaps you could elaborate on the degree when easy would kick in? :D
