Springsteen a Hobbyist?

Let me put it to you this way. Having to sit through and listen to "Born in the USA" one more time is like:unshavencuban said:

OK, may be I am exaggerating
I'm going to take this thread on a tangent based on meister's comments... I agree there do seem to be plenty of songs which one wishes could be put to death... not because they are bad songs per se, but because you have heard them a zillion times and really don't need to hear them anymore.Meister said:Let me put it to you this way. Here's the weird thing though... my car is really the only place where I listen to the radio, and for many years I have had a variety of presets, covering the full gamut of radio music formats--Top 40, alternative, oldies, urban, classic rock, etc. For the longest time I avoided the classic rock station. I just didn't need to hear 'Smoke on the Water' or 'Good Times Bad Times' again. But sometime in the last 6 months I started listening to the classic rock station again, and I found myself staying there. I guess it is a sign of getting old, but I find I'd much rather hear 'Dream On' and 'Highway to Hell' for the zillionth time, than 90% of the other crap on the radio.
Yes, that is for sure. The woman Vincent Van Gogh lost his ear over was indeed an sp. The precise names are escaping me at the moment, but there have been many artists who have been inspired by sp's.Cute In A Kilt said:
