Reverse logic?

The science and technology of tires is very complex. I have probably 1000x the knowledge you do on passenger car tires and F1 tires from back in the days when Michelin was in. However even then I know enough to know when I don't know and so I shut up.

And I don't know very much at all about tires on tractor trailers, buses, dump trucks etc. I'd suspect they are far more complex than passenger car and light truck tires and many more factors are involved in their design and dynamic operation in many conditions.

So if you have any more knowledge on truck tires (than you do on passenger car tires) speak up as we'd all be happy to learn so we can decide to equip our own rigs properly! But if the best you can do is to say that since tractor trailers don't change their tires with the seasons then ...
Did you install them at Canadian Tire or Costco? Is that what makes you an expert? I'm warm I'd bet money. I've given more usefull information to the OP regarding what winter tires would suit his needs then you back in post #144.

OP this member thinks pressurizing your tires with nitrogen is snake oil. This shows what her opinion is worth and shows her "expertise" is old school.
