So Trump got bankrolled heavily by Russian oligarchs mafia to save his distressed NYC and foreign properties and clean up hundred of millions of dollars of debt.

You watch this and you think, "wow, I can't believe he's being so forthcoming"
For about the first 2 minutes....
But then you begin to realize that he's being played by Putin and he's too stupid or too bought by the Russian money to know it.
PEOPLE, THERE IS NOTHING PUTIN WANTS MORE THAN THE COLLAPSE OF NATO. And then, for the cherry on top, the breakup of the European Union. Putin is way smarter than Trump. Putin wants the collapse of NATO because frankly Russia is not nearly as strong as we in the west have been lead to believe. Their economy is in shreds, and it's always been weak due to corruption and the fact that it's not a free market economey and in fact it is now simply controlled by corrupt goons as opposed to in the past when it was controlled by a corrupt comminist government. Oil and gas or not, Putin doesn't have the economy to defeat NATO and as a result, the Russian military is third rate at best. It's NATO that keeps Putin in check and it drives him crazy. Putin knows as long as NATO exists, he's fucked, so his only option is to out think and bamboozle a corrupt and naive American president. And then Putin can achieve HIS end game, the restoration of the Russian Empire.
But I do agree that the world is currently on a nuclear precipice. At no time on my life has the world been so close to a nuclear war and it seems like we keep inching toward it and it's fucking frightening. When this proxy war in Ukraine lit on fire, I was fully behind supporting Ukraine. I still am, but I'm starting to question the honesty of it all. I'm now feeling confused. It does feel like it's the perfect golden opportunity for the American military industrial complex. A never ending conflict back and forth between a weak Russia and a corrupt Ukraine in which American arms companies have a never ending Purchase Order for the supply of more and more American military hardware. It's the gift that just keeps on giving.
The quandary for me is that I have no idea on how to end it and no good outcome any way I cut it.
