The guy who has been really light on the campaigning and heavy on the golf?
He knows microphones will come to him.

People have been complaining about how much he is playing golf instead of getting out there for a few months now.

His campaign schedule is public.
If he isn't campaigning, guessing he is playing golf is a pretty good guess.

Routh’s politics, meanwhile, don’t appear consistently aligned to one party or the other.
In June 2020, he offered a post on X directed at then-President Trump to say he would win reelection if he issued an executive order for the Justice Department to prosecute police misconduct. You do know that it was a Secret Service agent doing forward reconnaissance that spotted the gun poking through the fence don’t you?

And he was on the other side of the golf course from Trump. Trump would not have even come into sight of the guy for another hour or something.

Sounds to me like the Secret Service did it’s job. 🤷‍♂️

Pretty hard to stop a lunatic. If there is ONE thing that truly scares me, it’s a crazy person. Trump has rallied a lot of silent crazy people out of their quiet existence. This guy used to be a rabid Trumptard himself.

Think of the wake of ruined lives Trump has left behind. All the lawyers, former aides, supporters, Jan 6 convicts etc. Even Melania’s life is permanently fucked because of him. All their own choices, but bamboozled nonetheless.

Routh is clearly insane, Mitch.

Clearly needs a forensic psych assessment.

Plus, he didn't actually threaten Trump. He was merely lurking. So all they can get him on is gun offences and licence plate theft.
