Did anyone see Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson fighting with fans during the Pacers and Pistons game? That had to be the craziest moment i've ever seen in a basketball game.

It's lucky that it didn't get more out of hand.

Maybe they should have given Artest that time off.

Very sad indeed. No class, no control on both sides.

Ahem.....gentlemen....

THEY"RE BASKETBALL PLAYER! no class is a given!

Of all the pro athletes these guys are the biggest, trash talking, bling wearing, hoodie sporting, entourage carrying clowns in the world. Dare I say, they've surpassed pro boxers in my books for biggest sports clowns.

Hmmmm.....I see.....20 game suspensions for all involved (hey! now Artest can go on tour and promote his album.LOL)

I havent seen the video but this crap has got to stop. The players are supposed to know better and i would say there will be heavy fines, suspensions and maybe even a little jail time for some of them. For the fans who threw things its quit simple, if they are season ticket holders or season ticket holders who sold there tickets to others you REVOKE their right to tickets forever and ban them from the arena. I am a season ticket holder for over 30 years to the DA BEARS and if i ever have a couple of tickets for sale i only sell them to people i know.I have ate a couple of tickets rather than sell to someone i dont know. The Bears have cracked down on rowdy fans the last few years and i do know of some people whos tickets have been taken away . You sure dont see as many fights in the stands as you used to but when the snow starts flying so do the snowballs and they will nail you for that too as they should. All this being said the only asses that are going to get kicked tommorrow in Soldier Field will be the Colts. GO BEARS

healer,

only a person of no class would make the statement you did. I guess hockey, football, soccer, tennis, baseball players have class but not basketballers.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I see from which ignorant and bigoted angle you are coming from.

Classlessness is not only limited to the way you think minorities from the ghetto behave. Lots of classlessness of a different sort take place elsewhere. Just look at the world in general. I wont go into details but I hope you see what I am talking about.

PS: Avril Lavigne the nice little girl has class I suppose? lol I dont see her in too much bling bling and hoodies and whats it not. lol

in no way am i siding with the players here, they do have to exercise some restraint in regards to the fans, but....

what the hell are the fans thinking about? throwing beer and pop on guys, and not expecting reprecussions? sorry, but i would have done the same thing, i would have gone straight for the guy who did it and pummel him! incredible, i think the palace security force needs to be reviewed, because frankly, there was no security down there to help out, or even prevent it in the first place. very interesting to see what the NBA does now. the fans who did it, should be banned from the arena for life, and if they were season ticket holders, buh-bye! no money back either for this year.

as for the players, ron artest is a jerk, period. he did try to stay away from ben wallace, during the original incident, but, when he laid across the siderails, and put the espn headset on, that was cocky. he then proceeds to talk trash with the fans, probably enticing the fan, who was drunk to begin with, to throw stuff at him. what stephan jackson was doing, charging at the one fan, was wrong. he was not involved at all, he should never have been there. ben wallace is the guy who will punished the hardest. he started the whole thing to begin with. sure artest fouled him, but it wasnt that bad. his reaction was way over the top. i hope the league comes down hard on him.

another black eye for a league with an image problem. way too many attitudes and egos in this league. david stern, you had better get a better grip on your players. if it is not holdouts, they demand trades, want time off to record rap cd's, rape cases, drug cases, and now this. sure doesn't help sponsors make their minds up about supporting the league.

No way. Big ben pushed artest. Artest and jackson attacked fans. I'm glad the fans got some shots in too.

That fan threw a full container of beer at Artest from point blank range.... at his head... while Artest was laying on a table.

I think Artest is a punk/hot-head and was showing up the Pistons by laying on the bench but I don't fully blame this one on Artest

I'm glad Artest and the Pacers knocked those fans out. yeah, its not the right thing to do, but I hate the fact that fans think they can throw stuff on guys and not expect anything coming back at them.

LMAO at O Neill knocking the chubby fan out.

I still haven't seen the tape of the incident, but I have to wonder, what were these fans thinking? Some pasty white fat guy is going to challenge Jermaine O'Neal to a fight? Yes, I know, these guys were probably drunk and not too bright to begin with, but I only go after guys I know I can beat up.

I'd bet Artest, Jackson, and O'Neal will be suspended for the rest of the season!

As a benchmark, Rodman got 11 games for kicking the cameraman in the nuts, and Sprewell got 68 games for choking Carlesimo.

That said, I gotta side with Artest on this one. Apparently some of the crowd was taunting racial slurs at the Indiana bench for the entire night. (Ever been to an NBA game? Yeah, it's disgraceful.) Where the hell was the security? Combine that with Ben Wallace's cheap shot and the beer toss. Dunno if I could have restrained myself either.

What a tremendous right cross by O'Neal ! That sucker punch knocked out the fat dude, who was carried off on a stretcher! What did he expect when he walked onto the court?

Ron Artest for Vince Carter! LET'S DO IT!
