Perhaps.... perhaps not... Sincerely, Jon .
There's no doubt. From his violent behavior in council chambers, to his association with gangs, to his hard core criminal friends, to his crack smoking, to his refusal to work with the police.

He is a thug.

As I've said previously in a couple of these Rob Ford Scandal Threads, we'll have to wait and see what is presented as evidence in Court. To the best of my knowledge to date, initially Mayor Ford was incidentally caught up as a bit player in a much larger invesitigation and as yet has not been charged with any criminal wrong doing. Sincerely, Jon .

Congratulations. You have made a correct observation, on this occasion. Please refer back to Post#: 477 and review as required. Sincerely, Jon .
Congratulations on confirming that you were wrong about Ford co-operating with the police.
Now, try to be as big as Ford and issue an apology.

Just a little FYI, if Ford is elected again in 2014 the restrictions of his powers which councillors voted on do not carry over into his next 4-year term (so from 2014 to 2018).

Thats of course if Ford is re-elected

And if he's not trying to become PM (hahahaha) or trying to find connections behind bars....

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Does Blatchford have a highschool diploma? Is she really that dumb? Is she one of the 67% of highschool dropouts that support Ford?
After seeing how the media has been handling this whole mess I think there are many members of the media that lack education of any significance. They have been very sloppy, too reactive without completing proper due diligence, and embellishing reports with allegations and insinuations just for the sake of being first to press and selling their media. I've lost complete respect for the media, will take their reports with a grain of salt from now on, and will never, ever pass judgement on any story until verified by several sources, especially from the Star.

It seems that the star did a pretty damn good job on this case. Their alleged bias has not impacted the accuracy of reporting. What more can you ask for?

On the contrary.
Ford has been found to be lying multiple times and the Star and all other media have been found to have been reporting accurately.
The question is: Will you take what Ford says with a grain of salt now?

Exactly. The Star reporting on Ford has been to notch. They have been accurate, objective, and thorough.

Ford Nation hates the Star because Ford Nation hates the truth.

Freudian slip by fuji.

Nope. The Star reporting on Ford has been fantastic. Objective. Accurate. They did a lot of hard gumshoe work to get stories, and they brought those stories to the public. Fantastic journalism. First rate.

The reason why you are getting sick of Ford stories has nothing to do with the Star. It has to do with Ford. With the fact that he is a human train wreck, staggering from one painful to watch fuckup to another. Until he decides to take himself out of the public eye, he is going to continue to generate these painful news stories.

Don't know if this has been posted or not:

Rob Ford fitness consultant a convicted steroid trafficker, banned from coaching in Canada: NP

http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/1...id-trafficker-banned-from-coaching-in-canada/

Does Rob Ford know a single person who isn't, uh, "interesting" ?
Classy guy, eh?
His trainer was already tweeting to a stripper about getting ford to Whiskey's.

And two more people were arrested in the ongoing Operation Brazen 2 investigation.
The fun never stops for those wacky Fords.

I found a few cryptic things about Ford and escort allegations via google. Make of it what you will:

"I'll volunteer.

I've largely stayed away from this madness today and have worked behind the scenes. Besides speaking with Council staff, I met with a TPS source today regarding information that has begun to clear up over the last week. I became aware that media investigators know where Ford is getting his supply post-Lisi. Since I've heard it from enough sources, I'm going to assume that it's no longer a Police secret: He doesn't call prostitutes for sex. The name of the escort service is known to me, members of the media and the TPS. They're cornering Ford. It won't be long."

Since you mentioned escort service, a few days ago I became privy to information regarding that from someone that knows the person who runs said escort service. I've remained tight-lipped about it, though. I assume we'll hear more about it at some point."
