You full of shit, what is a coke whore exactly now?
Not the same thing as a prostitute, really. Morally speaking, a whole lot worse. Prostitutes generally consent. You could argue that feeding a woman cocaine in exchange for services is not a consensual arrangement, but rather exploitative, due to the addictive nature of cocaine.

Fiuji as reported by CP24. He helped her from falling. He apologized to the councillor. She accepted and they HUGGED.

Exaggeration and hyperbole don't help your arguements. Now you just look foolish.

10-15 feet? Seriously? Truly laughable.
Our friend Fuji has a real hate on for Ford and yet he (Fuji) vigorously defends the tyrant Morsi who ordered the murder of protesters and wanted to impose Islamic Law.

What happened to-day at City Hall reminds me a bit of what happens in Taiwan. Hope the link works.

Really? So if one person feeds another cocaine, or even say crack then the reciever shouldn't be held responsible? I believe crack is even more addictive.

Right about now a fish headed guy should be popping up on your shoulder screaming...

"IT'S A TRAP!".

Lol!

Didn't someone mention the president of Taiwan got single digit 9.2% approval rating and he is still on the job and nobody can make him quit?

I think Rob Ford got 44% at the last Gallup poll approval rating?

Gallup doesn't do many polls in Canada, got a link for this?

Certainly the receiver should be held responsible for their decisions to become a crack/cocaine addict.

But the person who is feeding an addicted person crack or cocaine exploitatively, in order to translate their addiction into sexual favours, is also reprehensible. An argument can be made that it isn't consensual sex.

How about taking videos without consent and then attempting to sell them. If it was a sex video of a girl its a problem. If its another of a guy its ok?

Christie Blatchford had it bang on about something. If someone is attempting to sell a video taken without consent, and someone tries to convince that person to give up to the victim, why are they charged with extortion and not the person who took the video?

Don't get me wrong. The Mayor is an idiot for placing himself in the situation. This is not a defense of his stupidity. But I sometimes wonder about some of the optics here.

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Does Blatchford have a highschool diploma? Is she really that dumb? Is she one of the 67% of highschool dropouts that support Ford?

First off, even if she's right that it was wrong to sell the video, that does not justify extortion. When one criminal commits a crime against another criminal, it's still a crime.

Second, comparing voyeuristic pornography to a video of someone smoking drugs is inane.

You seem to think that in any transaction only one person can be a criminal. In the case of Ford and his associates, you got a bunch of criminals together in a room, and they all committed crimes on each other. They're still crimes. Ford committed a crime by smoking crack, someone may have committed a crime by filming his criminal behavior, and Lisi committed a crime in extorting the video of Ford's criminality from the criminal who criminally took it. And the fact that it was a multi-way thing, where they each behaved criminally towards each other, just shows how low down into the mud Ford was. That is a good description of a human cesspool.

Back on topic -- it is extremely reprehensible, deplorable, exploitative behavior to extract sexual favours from an addict by feeding them drugs. That does not excuse someone for being an addict, but taking advantage of their addiction by exploiting sexual favours out of them is just fucking disgusting behavior. I don't know if it's criminal (beyond the drug trafficking component) but it should be if it's not. It certainly shows that the individual engaging in that activity is just about the lowest scum we have in this society.

Not just the optics, the police operations too.
Sometimes I feel like we're trapped in a lost season of The Wire. Crooked politicians, cops with questionable agendas, drugs, sex, murder, extortion...
Bill Blair and the police have A LOT to answer about this entire investigation and saying "the case is ongoing" or before the courts is not much of an excuse, and won't work forever. Gathering and releasing all that personal information about Ford without laying a single charge against him (so far) seems wrong and unjustified.

And the ones who took the video haven't been charged, or perhaps even investigated over it. If it happened in the "crack house" they more than likely supplied it. And more than likely offered it to the Mayor first.

Christie Blatchford is one of the most respected columnists in Canada. All she did was point out that its a mess like you said, but only one side has charges. So as you say....it should be both.

Why hasn't it happened?

Has the guy who took the video been identified? Siad was arrested, maybe he will face more charges if Lisi testifies. The extortion trial is going to start soon and could be hella interesting.

Oh I agree. It may even get worse for the Mayor. If he ordered or hired Lisi and it comes out in court. There could be other things still not reported. Right now I'm open to anything when it comes to this shit show.

But I've been playing devils advocate here too as the tendency is to pile on the Mayor when there are a lot of other players too. And I wonder about some of the measures of council still. If a lot of the "lefty"(for lack of a better description) councillors suddenly find themselves on executive committee and start undoing things then calling this a coup may not be far off the mark.

I think the people who took the video have all been investigated and many face serious charges. Taking the video isn't criminal. Is there any evidence that they tried to extort Ford with it? That would be criminal and is probably one reason why the police want to talk to Ford, but he is refusing to cooperate so they probably don't have enough evidence.

They have most certainly been investigated and charged in connection with the drug activity.

You are making excuses again.

There are a lot of charges against the "other side". Hundreds.

I think the answer to your question is that the "victim", Rob Ford, is refusing to cooperate with the police. Thus they don't have enough evidence to prove extortion against him.

This is common behavior with street criminals, the victims refuse to cooperate with police which often makes it hard to lay more charges.

What will prove interesting if this shit ever gets to court is the audio intercept tapes the police have between Ford and Lisi. If Ford is in the tank while on those calls his chance of getting the minority vote if he runs again is doomed.
