What is the difference. If he is Jewish will this somehow prove that Jews control the media? This is a canard used to explain, falsely, the Us support for Israel etc. It is a way of discounting the possibility that the US supports Israel because it has a just cause and is deserving of US support.

I think the US supports it for a lot more than simply because it's a just cause and deserving of its support. lol
But that's opening up a WHOLE lot of canned worms, so we'll leave it at that. Saturday night, time to get ready and head out. wooop!

Needless to say no. However, it is an example of the sort of nonsense that people will believe.
Kinda like the nonsense Faux News spews and you belive it? Gotcha. :)
Rupert owns Faux, but you knew that I'm sure. lol

However, I rather doubt any Rabbi you ask would agree.
We got into discussion about it and basically he said, you're either 100% or not.
As well what's taken into consideration and something Rupert will of course deny, is his upbringing.
...see, there's this thing called Halcha (sp?), Jewish Law (as I was told in the conversation with my friend).

edit - it's Halacha* :)

You don't watch it? Or ever have?
I'll catch bits and pieces of it most nights.

Colbert, however, I watch as much as I can. I find him way more entertaining than Stewart.

Stewart has great interviews and isn't overbearing with his guests.
Colbert annoys me with his guests and always having to be louder and more right than his guests.

Stewarts commentary are great and spot on - attacking everyone equally. His correspondents and their sketches are hilarious.
Agree on Colbert, his reports are fantastic and would you believe a study by Ohio State University showed "conservatives were more likely to report that Colbert only pretends to be joking and genuinely meant what he said while liberals were more likely to report that Colbert used satire and was not serious when offering political statements." ??? lmfao!

Just goes to show why Faux News is so successful, it distorts truths, creates lies and says what people want to hear and they drink it up (along with the Kool-Aid). lmao

Are you sure you weren't talking about pregnancy?

It is true that there are a lot of Jews in entertainment and other fields. So, I think the comment made by Sanchez is insensitive and irresponsible. And oagre, I would say the same about your potential comment to a Jewish Judge (I know and have hung out with two of them personally). However, oagre, I've read your posts. You're an open, smart and decent guy. To call your comment, or you, anti-semetic I don't think is appropriate.
I think you misunderstood my post. In fact, I do NOT think judges get appointed because of race or creed. I was just inventing an equivalent comment to Sanchez' to make the point that dissing your "boss" in public will get your ass in shit.

I really believe this is what happened. I think the main reason is that he dissed his bosses in public. If he didn't like CNN why didn't he leave? I think this was brewing for a while until he opened his mouth.

While Murdoch is not Jewish, Peter Chernin - the former President and COO of Fox up until June 2009 - is.
But you claimed that FOX is Jewish "owned" and, obviously, that is completely untrue. Maybe you could admit an error instead of trying to rationalize a poorly considered post.

Hispanics hate Jews .It's cultural. They have a distrust of them. The Islamofacist in the USA lick their chops because Latinos are becoming a huge voter block. I can't wait until Islamofacist come to power. The Latinos are going tolove them more than the Jews.......

Really? I lived in an 80% Mexican populated town in Texas for 6 years.Trust me- Latinos are distrustful of Jews. They are just short of the Jews poison the wells hatred the Arabs have but they are pretty nasty.
There's a lot of working-class hatred of Jews. It usually goes away once they become middle-class and a bit more affluent. Regarding whether network tv is run by Jews or not, that's undeniably true, but that really doesn't rise to the level of Jew-hatred, it's just an observation. Much like saying the construction industry is run by Italians.

I honestly can't see the above as being anti-Semitic
Really? Stewart takes on Sanchez for his actions and Sanchez turns it in to a race thing with accusatiuons that Jews control the Media. His last statement about getting a job may be mostly true but the one before that surely is racist.
