Alcohol and drugs. Khabib said, when talking about Conor that, “Money doesn’t change you, it shows who you really are”. Nobody can tell him when he’s fucking up now, they’re too afraid of losing their meal ticket.

MMA has evolved and he hasn’t, the gym he’s at only produced one notable fighter, him. And it’s more due to his left hand than anything they taught him.

He needs to get off the drugs and alcohol, retire from MMA and fighting in general (professionally or otherwise) and just enjoy his wealth with his family.

You make a valid point about how MMA as evolved an Connor has not. Although I would point out that is grappling against Khabib was better than both Poirier and Gaethje showed. Which surprised me.

But maybe a new camp would be a good idea. SBG Ireland other fighters of acclaim are Gunnar Nelson and Mr. Finland Makwan Amirkhawni. Good fighters but not really elite by any means.

I always wonder when these professional fighters or contact sport athletes (like hockey or football) act like this....could it be from repeated blows to the head and traumatic brain injuries? Remember Chris Benoit, the Canadian wrestler that killed his wife, son and himself? His autopsy showed his brain and extensive scarring, and he might have had the brain of a demented 80 year old. I'm sure drugs and alcohol play a major factor, but are they self medicating due to pain or other things?

Low calf kicks, among other things fighters do to counter a “karate-stance” style like Conor’s. They say power is the last thing to go on a fighter but he still has to be able to land that punch. We’ll see what happens when his leg is better.

Don’t forget about the Twitter champ, Dillon Danis.
