Nice to see that the DUI hasn't effected Jonas on the floor 18 pts and 13 rebounds in last 5 games avgs ..
Well it comes down to 1 game ... Win and you got the Wizards ... Lose and you play the Nets ... Although if Bulls lose it doesn't matter what Raps do they will play the Wizards ... Is Carmelo going to risk injury and play last game of the schedule ?
With the Knicks being out of it I can see 'Melo sitting not taking the risk. If he does, we need to play a little softer on him, he'll get his points anyway so let him take the shots and shut down Amare (another who may not play) and the rest. Hopefully Shumpert doesn't find the defence he found in the 4th quarter of the last game. That dude shut us down on his own until he fouled out.

More than that it could mean playing Indiana than Miami in the next round. A more unlikely event would be home court advantage if they play the Bulls in the final.

Raptors’ playoff tickets most expensive in league

Toronto basketball fans are buzzing with anticipation as the Raptors’ first playoff game in six years draws closer, but netting seats for post-season play won’t be cheap.

Forbes reported Monday that, at an average of $370.63 each, the team’s playoff tickets are the most expensive in the league. They’re also 242.5 per cent pricier than regular-season Raptors tickets.

In other words.... buy MLSE stock not the tickets!

Hope the Raps are really pissed that the old guys laid down because they thought the Raps would be easy pickings.

Heard a report that Tim L is really high on Kyle Lowery. That being the case, money won't prevent him from signing with the Raps again.

Yes!!!! It must have been those camera shots of Bargnani sitting in a suit on the bench staring off in the distance with that dumb look on his face last night that made you make the change, right?

I can't wait for Saturday, this series is gonna be awesome.

However, I must admit, the Nets do scare me a bit, guys like Livingston, Joe Johnson, Blatche, Kirilenko will give the Raptors fits. They are all tall and long-limbed for their positions and move without the ball and make cuts to the basket and the Raptors have trouble defending that.
I'm not so much worried about D-Will, Pierce and Garnett as I am about those guys.

It could be a 7-gamer, and I love the Raps, but I seriously don't know who's gonna win this series, does Brooklyn really have a switch they can turn on in the playoffs or are they as mediocre as their record suggests? Stay tuned.

The Knicks one game from a playoff spot ..... This Bargs moment may not make year end highlights but it should .

The coaching may offset the vetern experience of the Nets ie Cassey over Jason Kidd ...

This guy has NO basketball IQ!........ #1 pick over all?????? makes you wonder who did the scouting? and did anyone even talk to him before the draft?
There wasn't no consensus number one pic that year .. It wasn't a good draft class ... 3rd pic overall ... Adam Morrison ( Out of the league ) ... Tyrus Thomas 4th ( out fo league ) ... Shelden Williams 5th ( Out of the league ) ... Brandon Roy 6th ( Out of the league ) ...

iF you want to create a playoff attosphere and really create a home court advantage then don't over price your playoff tickets .. Cause the people who can afford those tickets ... Don't make much noise ...

Would have made sense to trade the pick for an established player and a pick. Again hind sight beats fore sight! Also can you imagine the screaming if they traded the #1 overall pick.
As I recall, most,(me included) thought he was the right choice.

Personally I think it is disgusting. MLSE is profitable without gouging their fans. I would understand a small price increase but this is just a money grab by an organization that has produced very few successful teams.

Perfect word ... How do you thank a fan base for it's loyality ... You do this ? The players don't get paid in the playoffs and for a team who didn't even have to budget for a playoff senerio .. Doing what they are doing is disgusting .

Bargs,

I believe that is you read the article closely, Forbes refers to the secondary market for the inflated playoff ticket prices, not the box office charges.
