Police said late Saturday they were hunting for a man dressed in medieval clothing and armed with a bladed weapon who left "multiple victims."

That's a new one

What's his name? Is it one of those funny-sounding ones?

If that's authentic, then he's dressed like a character out of "Lawrence of Arabia", which is not medieval garb, as the media describes him as wearing.

I don't think he was trick or treating. He's armed with a scimitar, the traditional Arab sword.

So far unidentified by name or description. Apparently has mental health problems and has threatened to stab people before. No indication that he is anything other than pure laine, but we'll see. He has been taken to a psych facility.

I'm confused how Justin is involved. Quebec City police arrested the suspect and criminal prosecutions are a provincial jurisdiction matter. Maybe you can explain how the Feds are involved in this? Cite some caselaw on constitutional law enforcement jurisdiction. That would be helpful.

Thanks for your contribution to the discussion. You saved a dozen or so of your friends from taking the time to write exactly the same nonsense.

Justin is involved because he let him into the country. If he was a quebecois, he wouldn't dress like an Arab and carry a scimitar.

When interviewed he said " I did warn you. but at least I didn't behead anybody. what do you take me for? some kind of savage?" Either he doesn't take his job seriously. Or maybe he just has a problem with commitment.

Multiple outlets reporting that the man was brandishing a Japanese katana-style sword and was wearing a samurai costume. But of course that doesn’t fit your narrative.

Only a historical ignoramus would describe him as a samurai. He is dressed as an Arab. Samurai don't wear a headdress, Arabs do.. There is nothing in his costume which identifies him as a samurai. This is just political correctness on the part of the media.

Or maybe he's just lazy. It's interesting he mentioned beheading, as if that were expected of him.
