Hello,

I've been wanting to visit an SP or MA for some much needed physical contact but I have psoriasis on my shins and scalp.

As a result I have been very nervous about booking appointments because I feel ashamed about how a companion might view it and how it may affect the service.

Try Meg in Orleans she has the condition herself
I've had psoriasis for years and never had problems. Occasionally a question is raised, but I just tell them it's psoriasis. Any lady in the business knows it's not contagious and doesn't worry about it.
**I use the word "eczema" on occasion, especially with Asian ladies. Though time I realized that Asians are not familiar with the word 'psoriasis'. Same symptoms, different treatment, that's all.

I think I speak for many providers who try to make their clients as comfortable as possible… we don’t mind!
We all have different skin and come in different packages. Whether it’s acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin tags an on and on… we’ve probably seen it all lol
And heck, most of us have our own unruly skin issues (don’t mind the razor burns lol).
And if someone puts you down for your skin issues, they aren’t a professional and aren’t worth your time and money.
Hopefully this helps ♥
