I'm not an agency person, but no one shows up to their prebookings. No one. There is like the odd unicorn that does, and I have to apologize profusely to that person. Because i've moved on to something else.
I just say "yeah" im available and no one ever comes through. I can have three or four tentative pre bookings that don't make a deposit and none of them will show up, and I will just get the appointments that come up that day.
Even if I finally managed to get someone to make a deposit, they don't show up... If they do show up, they don't show up at the time that they originally requested.
And it's always that one guy that actually follows through... That actually shows up on time that gets screwed over because the normal expectation is that guys don't show up to their appointments. They don't show up on time. Hell, i've even had people show up a day early or one or two hours early.
I had just as many appointments where people showed up extremely early or extremely late as much as i've had people show up on time... But it's almost like a hundred percent chance that a guy who pre books is not going to show up to his appointment. It's less likely if he makes a deposit but the likelihood that he will cancel is still very high.
Girls can kind of get a sense, and a feel of how things are gonna go that day and if it's not busy, it's not worth showing up that day and waiting around.
It's really boring.
On one hand men have this expectation that we're sitting around, waiting for them twenty four hours a day, waiting for their phone call... And on the other hand it's so boring, waiting around for people.
If there wasn't a mountain of bullshit that came with doing this type of work, everyone would do it. If people showed up to their appointments and respected boundaries, if they paid the price you were asking for and didn't push for more than you offer and expect you to bend over backwards for them... Honestly every single person would do this.
The hard part, it's not the sex. It's managing all the bullshit in the background.
That being said, it's not existing clients that don't show up... I can pre book with existing clients and it's generally at the time that we agree to... But pre booking with a new person is a shit show.
If you already know this girl and you have a rapport with her and she knows you're consistent, i'm sure she would stick around for you... But when you get dicked around all day, and you first start your shift and you've got two or three, no shows it just puts a bad taste in your mouth, and the agency should be screening, people better.
Someone mentions something about a guy trying to book a woman really early.
That's a game that some assholes play.
They ask what your schedule is and then they ask you to be available earlier or stay later. They have no intentions of showing up. They get off on wasting a woman's time.
I used to say at messages like that all the time and it helps, if you stop engaging with people who are constantly trying to push your boundaries.
If I set a boundary and people want to push my boundary, that's a huge red flag. Boundary pushers don't stop pushing boundaries.
I'd love for agencies to chime in here... because I'm really at odds with cancelation policies.
Everyone cancels from time to time, but for me Im looking at a multi hour commute -each way- when I book an appointment... as such, I appreciate the agencies situation and always give 24hr notice if I need to cancel... With the relatively new concept of 'pre-booking' I find more and more, it's impossible to book a appointment. When I do, the girls say they're constantly being canceled on... so they get frustrated and cancel their next shifts out of spite. To me, this means clients are booking multiple appointments predicting a cancelation, then canceling or worse...not showing up to their other appointments once they've seen someone.
I have a 3 strike rule, so most of my ATF girls are off the list... and it pisses me off, but I can't chance a 4+hr round trip on a last minuite cancelation. Honestly, THE SINGLE AND ONLY agency to contact me in advance because of a girls cancelation is Discreet Dolls. it was a simple, subtle text 'Hey' the night before, so prying eyes wouldn't know what the text was all about.. but I was able to make alternate arrangements and it all worked out.
I don't know if it's cursed Fridays, or whenever I buy gifts... but either seems to result in me only generating a large carbon footprint of frustration... now Im looking at a 3rd strike rule, combined with over $50 worth of Biltong...
and wondering how I even properly store this South African Jerky.
