Always with the half truths. Obama did do separations, but only in extreme cases and stopped the policy before Trump took power. Trump, and Steven Miller, basically adopted it, and supercharged it to be as horrific as possible. A weapon to scare families from crossing the border illegally. Cry all you want, but the reality is Trump did this and should own it. As for crickets and Obama, there was outrage. There was anger. It happened at the time, and that's one reason they stopped it.
Now, onto the media. I'm familiar with these charts. I don't necessarily disagree with it, but it does strip out accuracy. You should understand that "leaning" means it can be objective and not spin bullshit. I also question some the include in the left-leaning. NPR, if you listen to it, tries to be centrist. Yahoo...do they even write their own shit?
An interesting thing to see: Look at the left-leaning and right-leaning. Notice how virtually all on the left are respected and reputable? While on the right-leaning....Not so much. The Epoch Times? Fox Business? The Washington Times? They sure as fuck aren't equals.
The left side used to be respected. That's not the case any longer. As evident by things like viewership for CNN as an example.
Re the photo...I think you missed the point. When the photo was released, even before anyone could confirm when it was taken, it was assumed it was something to do with Trump and was marketed as such to play into the ongoing negative narrative.
That's how far the campaign of doom/gloom has gone. It has been achieved by instilling a cognitive bias towards anything having to do with Trump and conservatives in general.
The first photos were from Trump run centres. It was later that they produced Obama-era pics. Never let facts get in the way of a good spin job.
And how do you feel about the way Trump and the right spins. Saying the US is in decline and the left wants to destroy America. It is interesting how you cry when the left points out actual plans by MAGA that they are moaning about doom and gloom, but you never criticize what they say about the left. Please. And

And this refers to pictures some how? As in, your original critique was that they allegedly used a photo showing Obama-era "cages" with separated children and blamed it on Trump? As for cages, yes, some were built during Obama's time. But the majority were Trump. As were the boondogle of the situation where they lost families. That didn't happen under Obama. That was due to the Trump administrations ineptitude.

The key word here is "at the height of the controversy," because the first photos were not from the AP. The very first photos came from the Houston Chronicle in late 2017. Then, for some reason, the AP shit was spread around.
And you seem to forget the backlash Obama got. Keep in mind, what Obama's administration did was horrible. Trump upped the ante on it and made it much more broad and vindictive. You didn't hear stories about children losing their families (and still not being re-united) from Obama. Know why? Because they weren't fucking ghouls who didn't take time to fucking ensure they documented everything.
